On two occasions I've had Duracell AA batteries with early failure and in both cases the batteries leaked. I contacted online support at http://www.gateway.com for information about upgrading the memory on my laptop. This was done through a "Secure Chat" session. They assured me it was 3des encrypted. Vanguard, "the people's mutual fund firm" has made it astonishingly difficult to roll over IRA funds from another institution into Vanguard. That their standard IRA rollover forms stipulate a "guaranteed signature" at the end (but which isn't really required, as I discovered after I called a Vanguard rep several weeks ago), was just the beginning of the roadblocks. I purchased this item for my mother as christmas gift. She just recently started using it and told me that the handle gets hot after three minutes of use. "This is not a Pack and Ship Store", after standing in line for 20 minutes with 2 packages (one which split open on top, 3 inch area) I finally got to a male clerk. Above was his reply when I asked for a small piece of tape to cover the split end of box (where my tape lifted). He said we sell tape at the other station (at least 10 people waiting at that station. I paid for a 2 year subscription in July 2007 via PayPal. After receiving no issues by October 2007, I attempted to contact the company via phone fax, email, and postal mail and received no response. I then contacted the NY state attorney general's office to make a formal complaint. The attorney general's office investigated and eventually notified me that they also were unable to make contact with the company. Be careful with these guys. Unfortunately, they are the only water supplier in our location. So here goes, our water meter was read wrong in October and our average 30-40 dollar bill was 480 dollars. We called and they said they would send someone back to re-read it. November came and we received a new bill with November's added to October's bill and a notice that our water we be cut off in 10 days. Pat gave me a verbal estimate for the repairs I needed to have done of "under $700". When done, he billed me $961 and wanted a check immediately. Most of his work will have to be re-done, it is decidedly unsatisfactory. His only response was that he's sorry I'm not happy. He has not offered to make it right, or anything. Consistently horrible customer service at this location. A bunch of snarky kids behind the counter who clearly don't want to be doing the job. They spend their time chatting with friends and flirting with the chicks instead of getting the orders out. My daughter was in from out of town and needed service on her Audi A4. She is a traveling nurse and carries a gun for protection. She purposely locked her gun in the glovebox of her car, but upon leaving the dealership, she noticed the glovebox unlocked and her gun missing. Since I was a guest of this club, the receptionist requested my drivers license. After my work out, I asked for it back, but he could not find it. The Manager gave me his card and told me to call back the next day in case it turned up. I called, but it was his day off. An employee RUDELY informed me that the club was no responsible for lost property. I'd like to complain about a recent service I had at Arty salon, japan town, san francisco. I went there to have extensions put in my hair. My hair dresser, Michi, immediately sat me down and took out the 2 options I have; curly or straight hair. She proceeded to put on the wavy hair for me. We had granite counter tops installed by Pietra Naturale, Inc. of Centerville, Ohio. The installation was very quick and the finished product shows it. Stove cutout is oversized and is visible. Piece behind the stove is uneven and is probably glued to the stove! The seaming is much poorer than I would have expected. Overall the quality of the fabrication and installation leaves plenty to be desired and is not on par with the cost. Lesson to any perspective granite customers: Do your homework. You are virtually GUARANTEED to be encouraged to spend more money than you need to at this business. I was told by a friend who had issues there that despite having a car that was serviced only a month earlier that my inspection WOULD fail, and it did. Nothing was substantiated, but i'm sure they'd have happily overcharged me for the brake job they indicated was needed. Almost every customer in there for the 45 mintues i was waiting was told more was wrong with their vehicle than anticipated. I have been in this pet store a number of times and have seen very bad neglect of these pets. I was in at one point and they had a ferret that was so dehidrated it couldn't even hold it's head up. I planned Saturday, November 9th to be a long relaxing day at Short Hills Hilton Spa only to be extremely disappointed. I purposely asked my husband to get me a gift certificate because I have always enjoyed my time at the spa. I purhased a 1998 Volvo S70 from this dealership. After recieving the title I came to findout this car hada salvage title. When I purchased the vehicle I asked the dealer if the vehicle had a clear title and was told it did. Fiberglass Skirt on drivers side is one half inch to short, it does not match up with fender. I called AITRacing and they told me since I was the only one complaining about it there is not a problem.They also told me I must have sanded off a half of inch during the prep. They mail all their products (fresh gourmet meats, cheese and sweets that are perishable) with UPS ground and you have no choice of carrier. Cannot make them send overnight or 2 days. I rented 5 movies on 11/27/08, Thanks Giving Day at Red box kiosk that is located inside Wal-Mart that is open 24 hours on Ramon ave in Cathedral City California and returned all of them on 11/28/08 before 9 pm watching all 5 movies being accepted during the return 1 by 1 as you have to make separate transactions to return 5 movies, you cannot return all 5 at a time to a kiosk.
