I bought an expensive pair of prescription bifocal glasses, with clip on sunglasses. Less than two years, the frame snapped at a joint. I paid to have the frames replaced. Less than 1.5 years later, the new frames broke at a joint (obvious design flaw). They would do nothing about it. They said outside of their one year warranty, they weren't obligated and I could call Customer Service to have it explained further. We purchased two Helio Oceans from them and both of them were customer returns that they resold to us. The worst part was that the lines were not cancelled and when we tried to use it Helio could not activate them for us. They informed us that Helio Cellular is actually no longer an authorized dealer for Helio and that they have actually received several complaints from them. My payment posted one business day late, not only did they charge me a $39 late fee, but they raised my interest rate by 15 points. On 11/3, this company ran an electronically-generated paper check for $34.95 through my account. It cleared overnight on 11/5. The address they printed on it was over three years old. They used a random six-digit check number which of course had no relation to any check number I've ever had. I signed up for a Google promotion to help with my business. The product was totally useless and I did cancel. However, apparently in the Terms and Service (which I did read and never saw) there is an additional charge of $4.95 for Fraud protection that one is automatically signed up for. How can they provide fraud protection if they do not ask for any information? How do they know they are protecting me? They do not ask this info becasue then you would know about the charge. Same as others. Charges on Verizon bill for "enhanced services" ( voice mail ) which I do not have have ; never signed up for; on my Verizon bill. After 20 minutes Verizon rep finally found a # for me to call allegedly for ESBI. No answer there for 15 minutes . Called back and Left v mail message on that # they never called back.
