Iam getting charged $14.95 on my credit card everytime I use Resturant.com from Shopping Essentials.com without my consent. I have cancelled twice with them on the phone and it popped up on my bill evertime I use the web site. Now I have to cancell my credit card and it has ruined my miles status on my credit card. This company called reference sending me information to help my son prepare for the sat. They said my son had requested this information. My son was not at home at the time. I gave them my credit card info. I have called 2 times and they say the information is on its way to me..I have never received this. I am not sure if this is a legal company. The book I received was a different edition from the one advertised on the website, they increased the shipping fee 33% after they had my payment info, and the book arrived damaged. Worst experience that I have ever had!!! I purchased a power supply that ended up being defective and they won't exchange it or refund my money. They want to charge me a 25% restocking fee because the box it came in is damaged, although the damage to the box occurred before I even purchased the item. Horrible. Last time I ever order from this company again. I had a $25 gift card I had to use, so I was looking for something to buy. I ordered a Phiten Power sleeve on 12/5 - received notification it would be backordered until 12/12, then 12/19. Okay, now it's 12/24, and I just received an email it's backordered until 1/20/09. I put my order in and I used their formula for determining delivery time: "Delivery date = ships within time + shipping" plus I padded that time with a couple days. Went to order the Canon Digital Rebel and they tole me it was in stock and would be shipped that dar to the following day. Called back a week later and said that it was just shipped and would be gettinga UPS tracking number. 3 weeks after the order still no camera and I have already been charged for it. Worst experience on-line in a long time. Ordered and was given a tracking number on Wednesday afternoon with an email that stated if you have a tracking number the package has left their warehouse. So not true. My package did not leave until Monday. I emailed customer service on Friday and they stated it would leave their warehouse that afternoon...again not true.
