Despite "No Solicitation" signs posted at the entrance of our neighborhood, we had a young lady knocking on the door telling a sob story about how she was in rehab and had lost her children, the company was helping her to return to school. After agreeing to buy two magazines (at $100) she asked us to say something positive about her to show to our other neighbors. I was excited in getting info about grants. They advertised receiving CD for $1.95 S/H and if I liked the program, I would be billed $54.00 within in the next 3 months. Needless to say, all of a sudden my bank started sending me NSF paper work where they had gone ahead and taken this out of my checking account 3 months early. I have called dozens of times within the specified time limit and the customer serfvice person says that they can't hear me and hang up. I can't substantiate a 'bait and switch' situation, but that's how I feel I was treated. I was quoted a price on the phone and again in person. I agreed to the price. I bought a Sears Kenmore Oasis HE washing machine two years ago. After 18 months I was told I needed a new control panel which costs 400.00, that's more than a new small machine! it keeps displaying F51 in the middle of a cycle and the wash stops. I've read about a class action suit. Sears made a faulty product and needs to recall and replace the control boards for free. It's a terrible machine. They boast being able to do large loads, you can only do small loads or everything is a tangled mess. When it is working you can was only 1 sheet at a time.
