Summer Bay Resorts
March 18, 2008
In January 2008 I purchased what I believed to be only 2 adult theme parks. Anything else that was included would be free. The sales person I would say deliberately forgot to mention that my husband and I would have to attend a 90 minute presentation in order to receive our 'free hotel accommodations'. Had I known this I would certainly have refused the 'special offer'. Also, if I were to have a refund I would have declined within 7 days but didn't find out until I visited the web site today. That is another bit of... read full review »

MagicJack.com
August 22, 2008
I impulsively ordered a magicjack after seeing it advertised online via cnet, pcmagazine and cbs news but then I saw an article about a lawsuit against the company and then info about it sending ads to your pc so I realized I did not want it. The confirmation email I got for my order said I could reply to make changes so I hit reply and tried to cancel the order but the email failed so I did some more research and found an email address for [email protected] and emailed him trying to cancel the order. After further research I realized there is no true customer support for this service or help. I am convinced this is a scam. read full review »

CenterPoint
Rozzy January 13, 2009
Center point is out for themselves and the customer service providers truly suck! I wish I was a billionaire, because I would buy Center point and fire every worthless employee and those deadheads who play supervisor and managers as well!!! My father is 89-years-old. January 12, 2009 my father’s gas was turned off because (It truly happened) we did not get the bill…. I immediately called Center point and spoken to a Ms. Johnson (they never give their first names, because Center point allows the agents to be rude and obnoxiou... read full review »

Someone called my 90 year old father on the phone, promising him he was one of three people left to win millions of dollars. They subscribed him to five magazines he will never read. He cannot see. I am trying to help by unsubscribing to all of the magazines but am not having much luck. I would like to report this unscrupulous human being but have no employee name. This is a 90 year old man that worked hard all of his life and lives on social security. He will never be able to read these magazines but has very long and unneeded... read full review »

Cash Connect
Schmidt October 12, 2009
They called this morning -10-12-09, they stated there was a arrest warrant out for criminal crimes I committed by not paying back the loan they said they depositied. I went straight to my bank and checked for any deposits in my savings and nothing. I spoke to a lawyer and he stated they violated the FDCPA and not to pay them a penny. I am also going to contact the FDC. I went to the sheriff's office and they checked my name for anything. I called cash connect 10-12-09 and spoke to Monica and I stated everyone I spoke too and she stated we... read full review »

America's Health Brokers
nothappy123456 March 8, 2011
I dealt with Kevin Walsh at ext. 330 at America's Health Brokers. He told me that the coverage was 70/30 (70% covered by the insurance and 30% covered by the patient) on the Plus plan. In addition to this they offered cash pay outs depending on the service. After getting the benefits package in the mail and reading it, there was NO mention of any 70/30 coverage. I called the insurance company and they basically told me that Kevin Walsh used some "creative selling" to sell me this plan and that 70/30 does not exist for this plan... read full review »

SolarTek International is made up of a bunch of traveling scam artists. They set up dinners and invite retirees and show them their products. Their products look great at the presentation. Then they come to your home and push you into purchasing their products. They make statements about the savings that you will achieve with their products. I believe that I am saving a little bit of money but no where near what they stated to me. This company is very dishonest. Purchased a 2005 Jaguar from them on 12/24/08. It was Christmas Eve and told car title, another key, CD Magazine, Books on the Car and GPS, front grill piece for the car were at their other store. My husband drove 3 hours from Shreveport, Louisiana to purchase the car as a surprise. This is infuriating, someone once again called me from XBOX to "confirm my address and email", it is almost a month that I initiated a repair order which has now turned into 7 different "repair orders" because every time I call a new person answers the phone and tells me the same thing "can I call you by your first name?" and gives me the same directions on what to do which I've heard seven times before. My wife and I purchased a vacation club membership with RCI/Raintree and have never been able to use it. We've called about 10 times to plan a vacation and every single time, I get the same response "We're sold out and have no space available". These were all different dates and locations. We got scammed out of a large sum of money. I am looking to file a class action lawsuit as many others have had the same experience. I just need to get a large enough group to fight these thieves! I am a well educated person. My life is actually fine. It does not need rexamined. I am not ludicrous or anything that Vector Marketing's critism online taskforce claims me to be. Vector Marketing is a pyrmid scam that tries to reel in collage students to work for them. Plain and simple. Now watch closely in the comments section of people calling me a pussy and how they are on the fast track to earning$$$. Think, why would a company make you pay for your equipment to sell stuff? Why would the offices be hidden in places were people can't find them unless they had directions? Why would they hire everyone in that silly group? Think. read full review »

Taylor Fencing & Landscaping
Franlklin February 3, 2011
The owner, Rusty is not to be trusted. He stood in my yard judging my neighbors' fences telling me what was done wrong and how his work is much better. His work is shoddy, his character shady. My number one complaint is that I asked him what size boards he would be using before I hired him. He told me 3/4". That's what I wanted, I said "great". Eddie Farnsworth is the worst business man on the planet. He insists on being paid up front, he sets a schedule that he doesn't adhere to. If you, as the customer, question anything about his attitude or lack of commitment, he blames you. We hired this company to do some landscaping and outdoor construction . They rebuilt the front porch and the back porch. The front porch was done decently, except for one step which warped. The back porch steps were constructed from a kit (which we didn't know at first) and were put in incorrectly. We complained to the company owner, which had done the bulk of the work, about the extremely steep pitch of the steps and were told that they were fine. They were not fine.
