I paid the fee and they have not removed my information! It is still on their website. I feel very exposed and upset. I was under the impression that I was getting a free subscription to Parents Magazine through an online source. I was shocked that I was being billed (I never gave any credit card info) for a subscription. I called Meredith Corp and was told to "call back in a few days" to cancel because the rep "couldn't see" my order yet. This company fraudulently took money from my bank acount using my debit card information. Unlike some of the other reports, I have not signed up for any free trials or anything else on-line. This company is known by financial institutions as an actively fraudulent company. Their game is that they have stolen credit/debit cards and they periodically hit these accounts in small odd amounts (i.e. $51.99; $84.99 etc.) amounts that typically go unnoticed by the consumer. After many Ad pop-ups telling I had 39 virus to get rid of, I decided to go ahead and buy the item. 10/9/08 For some reason, that I still do not know, no change was taking place; I thought that maybe I did not do something right while trying to install; so I went ahead and did the same thing again on 10/30/08. I was in Orlando, FL recently and I had my card stolen on March 7th, 2008. I quickly called and was told that there had been a charge of $936 dollars to my account already. I was furious. Our Frigidaire stove that is a little over a year old, has a chip in the porcelain on the top of the stove. Since the manufacturer warranty recently expired, we contacted Lowe's as we had purchased an extended warranty at the time we purchased the stove. A service technician from A and E factory service came out on September 23, 2008. He deemed the defect to be cosmetic and had us sent touch up paint. After 22 months of making all my payments on time by car was involved in an accident and declared a total loss. My insurance company paid for all but 600 dollars. I contacted American Law Firm in hopes of obtaining a loan modification. Initially, they were very responsive and helpful with details. TCF hold your funds for purchases made, but never uses the funds to pay your transactions. They hold all your purchases for days then post them by the highest one first causing many fees and bounced checks. If they process them when you made the purchase this would not happen. read full review »

It took much longer for it to arrive than what they advertised as they did not have it in stock as they said they had.
