Since Dec. 22, 2008, I have been trying to get my cable, internet and phone service and billing as to what was promised. As of today 4-17-2009 I am being told that the bill will be $17 more per month than I was quoted after various credits given to me by various customer service people for delay in service. I am having a problem with these people, who claim to advertise on Facebook. I cancelled the advert within the specified time but they maintain they didn't receive the letter for another 3 weeks. I opened a small account at Woodforest, inside a Wallmart for the convenience of not having to go from my farm into town to get small amounts of money. I place two orders for electronics and auto hardware and accessories and they send me something total different from what was quote. When I contact them they hang up the phone on me five six times no one wants to talk to me or do something about it. I ask for a refund and they could take take things back they hangup on me over and over again. This company is a big scam... I gave this company 480.00 to purchase 1, 500 leads which there was supposed to be a 40% hit ratio which means. I am supposed to get back 40% of what I purchase. I bought a loveseat sofa, a recliner and a coffee table at the same day which was loaded and secured improperly by them to my pickup. I was just beginning to get to the freeway and the sofa came tumbling down ruining it. I went back to them and they said that I signed a waiver that they are not responsible for damages incurred after leaving the loading dock. Almost a year ago, I lost my home to foreclosure. Someone wanted to buy the house; HSBC appraised it at $140K and this company offered $100K. HSBC refused. I filed Chapter 13 and while I wasn't notified, I'm sure the house sold at auction. I cannot believe the extreme rudeness and attitudes given when trying to make arrangements to pay. They turn your information around with untrue comments and dates. Joined Direct Buy of Lancaster, PA in 2/2008. Payments made to Beta Finance were "misplaced" on several occasions and then payments appeared when threat of lawsuit was proposed. Monthly statements would not have all the appropriate payments listed. Balance on account was different on each statement. FM windows replaced all our windows a few years back. One of the reasons we purchased windows from FM Windows and Doors was because they had a lifetime guaranty. A few of our windows need replacement. The inside rubber sealant has begun to buckle in between the panes of glass. Purchased a bathing suit from this company returned it as per their return policy they never credited my account for the return. Had my CC company remove the charge. Now I have been turned over to collections for the entire amount of the purchase and shipping and handling plus some. I did exactly what their return policy stated and still was taken for a ride. We have a rental insurance policy with Travelers and after experience a loss due to a hot water heater leaking and overflowing we contacted Travelers. Art Adams service person stated there was a leak in the evaporator coil based only on the frosted coil. It must be replaced, $757 total. The unit was still working, but not fully cooling any longer even at ther highest setting. My experience is that this is a sign of low freon charge level. Travelers insurance appraises the vehicles that they have to pay for. Their appraisers always value the vehicle very low to keep their costs low. I was only offered 65 percent of nada value on my "above average " vehicle. They take an average vehicle price, then their appraisers nit pick every single flaw on the vehicle to get the value as low as possible.
