I have a credit score of 748. My credit card statements were lost/mis-directed and I was late on a payment. My introductory 0% rate credit card immediately jumped to 16.99% costing me over $200. B of A policy is that upon request their manager will call within 24 hours. Eight days later I called back and finally spoke with a manager. If I had been a B of A customer in any other way, in addition to the credit card, I may have had some leverage to have the introductory rate reinstated. I just want to urge anyone who is considering the University of Phoenix to please reconsider. First and foremost, the extremely high cost of tuition at the University is not a fair exchange for the subpar education you receive. You will be paying for shorter classes and peer learning, and from the research I've done, most employers do not recognize a degree from University of Phoenix as much more than a piece of paper. Walden is a money trap! They do not reply to concerns let alone ADDRESS them! They can't retain quality faculty at this point and it is beginning to be quite evident! I began my Dissertation to have my Chair leave the University. Ok, new Chair. She took three months to reply to anything I submitted! New Chair and frustrations sent to "advising". I am filing this complaint as a former restaurant manager. I formerly worked for Chick Fil A in Aurora Colorado. On 5 April 2008 I went through the drive thru at the Chick Fil A in Easley, South Carolina. When I pulled up to the speaker a very rude African AMERICAN worker shouted may I take your order. I politely placed the order and pulled around to the window. The girl snatched the money from my hand and appeared to have problems making change. Due to every former bad service I try to avoid Canadian Tire, however, they had the range hood i wanted so I HAD to go. I ask a staff member (unpacking) where i might find the range hoods. AAMCO charged me $100 to do a transmission fluid flush and I found out that they didn't do the work!!! After watching a YOUTUBE video of a News program's special report on Jiffy Lube scams and how they don't do the work that you pay for, I was very skeptical when i went to have my transmission fluid flushed. The workers of the company are known to curse at customer and have made racial surs toward people. The Franchise owner was contacted and he said that he would resolve the problem but the same staff continues to make the same errors, and are not reprimanded because they are family. I purchased three premium seasoned trade lines for my daughter on 5/20/08. I paid $3615.00. These trade lines were supposed to show on my daughter's credit report within 40 days of purchase. It is well over 60 days now, and there are no open trade lines. I have tried multiple times to contact D. Johnson (Chris Johnson), and was not able to reach him. I left messages, with no return call. Until about 2 weeks ago my minor child was employed at a location in Plano Texas. This location is owned by dennis clark.There is an employee at this location in management "she is a crew leader" she believes it is ok as she sees this behavior from her manager to yell, scream, and cuss at the associates under her. They do not tell you upfront that they are going to charge you $159.00 for bidding. When you contact this company they tell you that the notification "pops up" before you hit "okay". This is a total LIE!!! I checked out the site, I looked to see if I would be charged... no mention until they have YOUR INFO to bill!!! After spending 6 years with Dish, working with a young company in the early years, forgiving their mistakes that cost me weeks of no service. Huge upfront costs and a years service upfront to a get a good deal Paying for service that I went days and days with out because each time the dish was out of alignment, because of wind or weather, I would have to have a "service call" out to realign your signal. Gave me their sales pitch and I took it. We have been sending them monthly deposits for $465.00. We are still receiving phone calls and bills even from the creditor we supposedly already settled with. They say this is ok and just fax us the paper trail. The only debt settlement was the one offered to us independently via US mail... and they then took a fee out of about $430.00... for settling something we could have done ourselves. I explained that I was not expecting a package and he must have the wrong number. He continued to call back the phone number 876-503-5197 (stupid) and then called several time from an unavailable number. This is one of those outrageous early termination fee compaints. Had $15.99 internet scheduled in July for one year. I lived in Indiana until that May of 2006, at which time I moved to Ohio. Since AT&T did not cover Ohio I had to terminate my service 4 months early of the contract. So of course they sent me a $200.00 early termination fee bill. Do the math and you might realize something doesn't add up. For 4 months at $16.00 there would only have been a bill of $64.00. I couldn't send e-mails and called AT&T as usual. I was told that because I have a Mac, I HAD to use ConnecTech, which was news to me. ConneTech told me I could pay $17 for this one call or $17 a month for unlimited calls. On BOTH occasions, I was disconnected and when finally connected, I was kept on the phone for HOURS. The technicians couldn't fix my problem and the advice they gave me was totally wrong. He said 'It's in the truck' and walked away. I've had both hips replaced and numerous back problems and that ercked me. I switched from home depot to Lowes' because of thier customer neglect. First they said there would be no restocking fee in an e-mail. then they refunded only a partial payment and keep the rest as a restocking fee. I feel that Doba has misrepresented it self. After being lied to twice about their service and the price. I cancelled service before it was set up only to be billed for their mistake. I received absolutely no service from them, yet have been turned in for debt collection because of their mistake. I have now spent over 4 hours on the phone with them only to have to wait for them to review this mistake in order to deal with it. I would not recommend their services to anyone. I have never spoken to more incompetent people who can not do anything to help you and do not know what their services provide or the price to charge for them. read full review »
