On May 18, 2002 I purchased a 14,000 BTU Hampton Bay window air conditioner from Home Depot. On May 15, 2007 I began having problems with the unit. My mail man stinks! He delivers mail that isn't mine and even though i have asked him not to walk across the lawn since i am always putting seed and stuff down, but to no avail he and she still does it all the time. After having dish for 18 months , they added a charge of $6 per month for their Digital home protection Plan. I had signed up 18 months earlier and my contract with them says " You'll receive your dish network equipment, the appropriate plan programming package and a LIFETIME WARRANTY from dish network. I bought an entire living room set and a king size mattress from them about a year and a half ago. Everything has been great, haven't had too many problems until recently. Our 2002 nissan pathfinder/ chilicoot has only 120 000 kms on it and it blew the engine on the weekend. We have always maintained it and have never driven it hard. The dealership here in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada won't even take the time to tear the engine down to see what exactly broke inside of it. Recently my sister had a very bad experience in taking a product from videocon. She had purchased an air conditioner from next electronics shop from Ghaziabad just a couple of days back. The air conditioner remote stopped functioning the very next day we registered the complaint in the next electronics shop the same day. They diverted us to videocon customer care. I had shopped for the dvd cum home theater from rediff shopping. The supplier sent me the goods from hyderabad. They were in a damaged condition so i resent them back total price of rediff shopping was Rs 2,200 only. When the supplier sent me back the goods the octroi people charged 3 % on 5000 rupees ie 150 instead of 3 % on 2000 of the actual goods value. I went there but they were hesitant to listen to me. I was admitted for two weeks in hospital and treated with zyprexa for Bipolar Mood Disorder. In the two weeks my tummy swollen up and my weight increased tremendously. This past November, I purchased a carpet from the Carpet Land store in Falls Church. An employee scratched the paint of the roof of my Jeep by sliding the carpet without any protection. A significant amount of paint was scratched off, all the way to the front of the roof. Subhiksha staff of sec: 16 Chandigarh agreed to provide vegetables and fruits for my cousion's marriage. On the day of marriage, when we called up Subhiksha staff, they told us that few material is pending, rest is sent to the site of marriage. On verifying the items we found only 20% had been delivered at the site. This is what these so called professional supermarket chain has done. The outside of the box has 1/3 pound Angus Beef Patties in large print and small print indicates more fillers than a cafeteria meatloaf. As a consumer, I think it should not be allowed to say Angus Beef unless it is 100% and when it isn't, it must say clearly under the Angus Beef, what percentage.
