I was clearly told that my monthly bill for the service I signed up for would be $54.99 with the HD package being free for the first 10 months. My current bill I is $74.99. The Dish network is willing to give me a $10.00 credit after many calls and asking to speak to a manager but it is still not what I was told. We entered into a rent-to-own agreement with them in May 2006. Since then, they have harassed us with inspections of the property every 3 months. Our contract states they can enter to inspect twice a year. The remote of the Kelvinator split AC that I purchased 6 months ago stopped working. The technician took the remote to the service center around one and a half month back. I called the service center 100 times during this time. 2 days ago the technician left the remote (without repairing) at my neighbor's place. The remote is still not working. I am a little disgusted that since they came out with their newer model of gaming system (x-box 360). They decided to discontinue their games for the older x-box. If I would have known they were going to do this I would have bought a Playstation 2. I know this isn't a very high complaint, but running your older gaming system out as early as they did to drive sales on the 360 which went up 250.00 more than the original x-box shows how greedy Microsoft really is. Plus they have had numerous problems with the 360. I have made it known to them every month I have two disable sons and I am at dr. or hospital alot. I answered an ad in the paper for employment. It was advertised as a Warehouse/ Customer Service Job. It was not that. Not only was the job misrepresented but their practices were very shakey. They made many promises that were lies. I worked for one week and never received pay. The work hours were from 10am to 10pm. They placed all the blacks together in one group and others in another group. The job was knocking on doors soliciting customers and not warehouse work or customer service and advertised. I have been denied a rebate check even though I qualified back in June 07 and they issued me a check twice only to cancel them before they were mailed and now they say I don't qualify because I moved? I just purchased a grilled chicken sandwich at Wendy's today. I noticed the sign said new sauce. Well the sauce was unnoticeable, but the fact that the skin was still on part of the piece of chicken after I had taken several bites was not. Now I am hoping that the chicken was cooked! The size of this sandwich was about half it's size originally, maybe they should say "mini" grilled sandwich.
