My complaint is strictly with Citifinancial Retail. I have paid on time in addition to more than the required amount in order to use the ZERO PERCENT INTEREST FOR 12 MONTHS PROGRAM. I keep getting threatening letters from Wendy Carol telling me that I owe her $14.95 for something I didn't order or receive and that if I don't send her the money she will have a collection agency get it from me. On 5-08-08 I changed my plan to "Power Pack Family Plan" which thru MANY reps via the phone I expected 1400 minutes for 89.00. Next was unlimited texting for 15.00. Asked for a certifcate of quality for our product. She said they're willing to Teletex 50% of funds up front and the other 50% righ before shipment. I ordered a table from them - they charged me when I placed the order (?????? - nobody does that) I guess that should have tipped me off but it didn't. I waited 4 months for the table. I finally called them and cancelled the order. They said they could'nt put it back on my credit card because they had changed systems since they charged it. Said they would send me a check. I would like to know if there is any legal recourse we can take for this fraud? When talking to the lady on the phone, she was very curt. She said the items are free but you have to pay shipping. The cordless drill shipping was $39.00. I told her to forget it as I was going to report them to the Better Business Bureau. All that I received for $28.90 was a 3 inch and a 4 inch auger. Atlantic Auto Mall rips people off especially seniors. I bought a new car there and they sold me gap insurance which comes free in New York State with the auto loan. This company sells knock off equipment, but lists it as the real thing. I ordered a rainbow hose. I even called first to make sure it was the right one and he said it was. I ordered photos online to be printed and picked up in the Naugatuck, CT CVS. While they were ready on time, half of them were cropped VERY poorly--to the point where it ruined the picture. Also the website stated that my total would be 57 cents due to the fact that I got 20 free prints for signing up online. I pumped $40.00 worth of gasoline into my 13 gallon gas tank. I was in Kmart on Saturday 6-14-08 and all they had was lane 4 open and the quick lane.
