I would not recommend H.H.Gregg for any appliance purchase. Their models all seem to be one and two years old. Many of them have major problems within the first two years. The extended warranties are not factory or manufacturer backed. They are held by some GE concern that has no consideration for the customers concerns and frustration at the lack of proper repair and maintenance. The service company that is used in the Cleveland area not factory or manufacturer trained. They are poorly trained on one model and lost on any other. On 3/20/07 we went to adopt a cat found a grey female cat that my daughter and I fell in love with. They said she was a year old and spayed. I responded to American Fresh Ducts ad in a mailer for a $75 "Duct Package." They "open, agitate & vacuum the entire duct work under negative pressure." Consisted of 1 man who looked at the job while man #2 did all they work. They hooked up a large vacuum to one duct in kitchen, while using a small canister vacuum to do the rest of the registers. HDFC Bank deny to issue more than one Fixed Deposit in a day in one account. i.e. If one wants to put four FDs of Rs. 50000/- in a day they refuse!!! The Xbox 360 was suppose to be the hottest game console out, but turned to be junk... We purchased the unit as christmas gift for out son, by February it did not work, we sent it back & they replaced the unit, which also does not work. It is difficult to understand how can you purchase a play station unit & it last for years, the Xbox doesn't make it through 1 year. When you call Xbox of course it is out of warranty you paid $99.00 to have it repaired or replaced & again you told it is a hardware malfunction. I bought a 26" LCD Tv on black Friday of 2007. I followed the instructions and sent in for the rebate. I received a letter back stating that I did not mail in a copy of the invoice. I called Viewsonic and asked them if they were going to honor the rebate due to it being mailed after the original cut off for the postmark. They said yes. I mailed in another copy of the invoice. I recently bought (about 6 mos.ago) a Mr. Coffee 12 cup programmable coffee maker, I went to make my coffee this morning and no coffee! It stopped perking and the heating element went out on it. I just recently read that the mr. coffee plant laid off 390 workers and moved their plant to mexico. After buying mr. coffee products for over 10 years, I'm sad to say I will stop buying your products. This shipping company (EGL - which is now a part of CEVA) lost my plasma television (ordered through Amazon.com), and then lost a second replacement television sent by Amazon. In both cases, they never bothered to call me and tell me they lost the TV, causing me to have to make arrangements for someone to be at my home during the 6-hour delivery window -- for no reason. Their customer service has been terrible throughout. I constantly get inconsistent explanations and false promises about other delivery dates. I bought the Tomtom one New Edition for $400 less than a year ago. When I tried to access Map corrections, I got a message that the map is out of date. I contacted TomTom support and was told that I need to buy the new USA & Canada map (v7.15) for another $100 in order to use mapshare. I complained about having to spend an extra $100 ($500 in total for Tomtom one new edition). The Tomtom one 3rd Edition now costs half the price ($189.99 at BestBuy) I bought mine less than a year ago. TomTom is adamant to provide an updated map free of charge. I have made many purchases at The Plant Shed in Mansfield Texas over the years. The first time that a shrub I purchased didn't make it, I carried the dead plant to the store for a refund or credit. I had lost the original receipt but made a copy of my AMEX statement showing two purchases within the last three months. I was told that "Our policy is that we must have the receipt number"...Sorry Charlie. This is to complaint about the GIFT TICKET FEE of $18.00 charged to my purchase for using my credit card to purchase a bus ticket for my wife. I believe this is a rip off. My husband and I purchase a HGVC timeshare in Waikoloa Village called King's Land. This property was being built when we purchase the timeshare.
