I got into trouble with my mortgage company when I missed two payments. They had said they would work with me. I was reaching out looking for more help when I found US Homestead. They assured me that they could save my home. Instead they told me to not make any future payments to my mortgage company. 6 months later I was so far behind it was impossible to ever get caught up. Called to cancel due to expenses going up have not received anything from them and they say all they can do is lower the monthly payment and extend the number of payments. That doesn't really help anything to tell the truth, I missed the deadline for canceling but I did try calling them several times and because I didn't want to use my minutes on my cell phone did it from work and couldn't stay on the line for ever. I cleared my credit card payment for over a year now for an amount of around AED 40 000 and i paid a big amount of interest. this was back in November 2007. Professional installation was a joke. Had they given me the wiring tools, I could have done a better job my first time around. He didn't want to get up into the attic, so most of the wiring cable comes up through the floor (away from the baseboard), through a wall, and then runs along the top of the wall/ceiling moulding. It was the first thing a couple of friends noticed when they came to visit. Would I recommend them to install the wiring?? NO. I submitted many request to have the problem stop and nothing has happened. Noone has responded to my emails. This is my last try. I want this situation to stop. I bought a brand new SONY camcoder and the advertised price was $599. When I got on the phone the salesperson told me that it is a foreign model for this price and sold me a US model for $999. When I got the camera it was a used or refurbished camera in a box. This is a complete fraud. The "owner"/"expert" has no real estate background. My company researched him and found out he was in direct sales prior to "selling" timeshares and has been unemployed according to the IRS. This company could not follow through with their promises or back up any of their testimonials. While the representative is very charming and sociable, he is quite unbelievable and quite a liar. I received an envelope in the mail with no return address with a Canadian Stamp and post mark. Inside was a check for $3530.00 and a letter stating that I had been chosen as a Mystery Shopper for United Mystery Shoppers Inc. As it seemed too good to be true, I called the bank that the check was drawn on and they confirmed the check was a fake. Be careful!
