I was looking for a roommate and authorized 5.95 in charges. Then I looked at my credit card statement and found a charge of 29.95. I emailed them immediately and asked them to reverse the charge. However, they refused to and said that I had authorized it. I told them I was going to contact my credit card company if they didn't reverse the charge, which is what I am in the process of doing. I checked my credit report and a charge for $32.00 that I have never received any kind of notice for was on the report. I sent a check to the address shown on the credit report and received a letter back stating they did not have any info about this charge. I then contacted equifax and told them about this and to please have medclear send me the bill but all equifax sent to me was that it was, in fact, a real charge.
