Purchased new model of above DVD burner. The unit didn't even format or read a disk in the burner. Could not format, could not record. Have read the help section extensively, and I don't think I did anything wrong in installationl. Even uninstalled and reinstalled, with same non-working result. Decided to go for support, only to find that there is none. The only website I could find was another company, with only solutions for specific FAQs. Very disappointing, because this drive was highly rated by a number of consumer reviewers on the web. Those guys ought to be advised and stop praising a bad profuct. Thanks. I am in the business of building business credit for corporations and my one main complaint about www.mybusinesscreditblog.com is that he gives loads of information for free. Mike will run companies like ours out of business if he continues. You can tell that this guy is very knowledgeable when it comes to the whole business credit thing and now he has started to sell an ebook. I bought the ebook and it is golden. I think we will use it as a guide for our clients but my main problem is that if that blog gets any more popular, we may lose more clients to him. And that sucks. read full review »

I ordered online 5 inkjet cartridges for an Epson Stylus C60. I received an email with my invoice. I also had an email a few days later mentioning that my shipping address had an abbreviation. I wrote back the long word, they wrote back a "Thanks" email. A couple of days after that, I got two separate emails from ebay telling me that another account had tried to have been created with my card on file. I think this site is out of business. I ordered an LCD monitor on 12/6/2004, and when I checked the status of the order found that their website was down. Very disappointed with this company..ordered 2 Lian-Li towers and received an email that one of the towers was out of stock. Received only one the Lian-Li towers and the other one apparently never came back in stock. My card was charged in about 24 hours for both products and never heard from them again. I filed a complaint with the BBB in Georgia as well as a dispute with my cc company...still trying to resolve this mess...wish I would have found this website before purchasing from them...now their website is not up anymore and they have a 24/7 all circuits are busy message when you try calling!!! read full review »

On 02/10/06 I placed an order on mods4less.com, and paid for shipping by USPS Priority Mail. The Xbox/GC Dragon Adapter that I ordered said that it was "INSTOCK", and "Usually ships within 1 Business Day".
For the next week I would check my order status every day to see if my order had shipped, and to get my tracking number. But my order status never changed. It always said, "Status: Processed". These guys are crooks. They are under FEDERAL INDICTMENT for ripping off over $100, 000 from internet customers. They have been banned from selling on E-bay, and have been charged with piracy of Microsofts Windows's 98 software thru their website. I found all of this out the hard way off course. $334.85 of the 100k they ripped off was mine.
Usually I check out a company before I buy from them, but since these guys were featured on PAYPAL I didnt bother.

Customer service is terrible. I ordered a phone on the 21st which is MLK day so I figured that by the end of the 22nd that they would have it shipped so I can get it 2 business days after I ordered it because I paid for 2 day shipping but for some reason because I used a different address from my credit cards billing address they couldn't verify in time to get it shipped the same day. I had purchased a Htc touch dual from mobile planet end of dec 07. After couple of weeks the charger port was not working properly. I called Mobile planet they said to return the phone to bloomington, IL, I did in feb 08. I was told by mobile planet that it would take 6 weeks to reapair. After 8 weeks no answer, i called them up and customer service returns amanda mailed me back saying it is on the way back after repair. I got a request for an Enermax 305series case for a new PC. Searched around on PriceWatch and found MIXPC with a good price and free shipping. Checked there rating before buying and figured I'd take a chance on someone new. Big Mistake! I received a tracking number and my case arrived in a speedy manner. I signed up with this company (MegaGoods, Inc) who is also a member of the Better Business Bureau for a trial membership in order to see what type of products and prices they offered. My experience with these people was similar that of blacbear(may 24 2000)...they shipped me one item out of 5 and when I called to complain they gave me the same routine...accusing me of trying to rip them off and calling me a thief( and this is all over a couple of $3 cold plates)...furthermore that woman overthere was extremly rude...this wasnt my first order from these people, but it is my last...BE WARNED, IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR ORDER YOU WILL FIND OUT THESE PEOPLE ARNT

They have misrepresented their sevices to me as a paying customer for over 8 years.I first

Today, march 6th 2009, my wife went by Mike Brown Dealership with the concern of our tires being dry rotted. There is only 33, 000 miles on our vehicle. The dealership, before sending my wife to the man they used for tire warranty, warned her of his demeaner. Upon getting to this location and discussing with the man the problem he became rude and arrogant and refused to make the tires good. Trying to pass the buck back to the dealership. I placed an order 25 days ago. I received a confirmation the same day. They also charged my credit card that same day. I have heard nothing or seen nothing since. No merchandise! All attempts to contact the company have been futile. They no longer have a valid e-mail address and it is not possible to contact them by phone. My firm has bought a number of inexpensive computers from Midwest Micro. We order the computers...they show up. We have an extremely compentant MIS person here so we had never needed to call for any major support until recently. That is when I learned of how poorly this firm is managed and how unresponsive they are to customer complaints.

On June 11th, 1999, I placed a phone order for a WorkzPro System. At $1712.95, this system with 12.9 gigabytes of hard drive, 32mb of video, 256mb RAM, and a DVD-ROM was a great bargain. I was told I would receive my system in 5 days.
On June 23rd, I made my first status call and was told that it would be 5 more days. They were having problems with one of their vendors and were backordered.

Ambit energy entices customers with low per killowatt usage fees and then gradually increases your monthly usage charges by "estimating" usage. With every monthy estimate the charges go up, in effect creating a new and higher usage average. They've had my payment and the order page still says it hasn't been paid for.
