I have a Waltmartmoney Visa/debit card I put $200 on it went on a trip when I went to purchased gas to return home it declined $20 worth of gas thank God I had an emergency checking account to get back home. When I got home and check my account on this card I had $65.74 still on the card. This card is dangerous from my experience. I ordered a Mustek scanner. The scanner is defective, after spending 4 hours with a Mustek tech it still didn't work. I called ANT online to return it, my request was denied and I was told to contact the manufacturer. I contacted Mustek after numerous calls I now have to send the scanner to them in a DIFFERENT box (a hassle) and pay additional shipping costs...which will take weeks. I have received two invoices from Hearst Corp Invoicing Bureau for a subscription I did not renew. There is no way to contact the invoicing bureau, except the address to which I am supposed to mail my check, Hearst Magazines, Box 7186 Red Oak, Iowa 51591. The invoice indicates that my renewal would begin in May 2009, it is now March 2009, so I have not received any of the magazines I supposedly ordered, so I can hardly be in arrears. Yet the letter enclosed with the statement speaks insultingly about how they "fully believed you (meaning me) would send payment upon receipt of your invoice." The company is full of crooks, offering rebates, but not telling the customers how to achieve said discounts. Once I received my order and built my computer to make sure all the parts worked, I looked into the promised rebates. I returned two packs of slimeasy to the company which I was billed $88.97 for each. The packs were mailed from the post office with tracking numbers. After multiple e-mails to the company and promised a refund within a few days I still have not received the credit to my account. All future orders for their products have been cancelled. Received several calls regarding a bill in my son's name notified Capital One Bank that there is an error. I have called Bank One many, many, many times and told them My son is a minor (no credit cards in his name). Advised me they had made the necessary corrections, recived notification from GLOBAL Credit Collection Corp, that Capital One has turned the account over to them for collection. i found auto repair warranty online and i found they are based close to my town. i purchased warranties for myself and my son. we both have jeeps and the price and coverage was exactly what i was shopping for. My sont used his warranty before i did and let me tell you, i've never dealt w such down to earth people. something with his 4 wheel drive stopped working. we got it towed and early the next morning we got it authorized and he got his jeep back the next day. we've dealt w other warranty companies from the internet and by far auto repair warranty is 5 star. i'd recommend this company to anyone! read full review »
