I heard about a place in Erie, Pennsylvania in July of 2008 that help people with bad, or no credit purchase a car. They were a branch of New Motors in Erie, PA. They sell people cars that are financed through Credit Acceptance with a high interest rate, which i suppose is to be expected. I was looking at a 2000 chevy tracker with 88k miles. Arbitrarily lowered my credit limit from $49, 000 to $25, 000. I have had the card for 15 years. I never carry a balance (i.e. I pay the full balance every month), and I have never had a late payment, and I my balance never approaches the limit. I called to question this and they lowered my limit to $20, 000 as punishment for questioning them I guess. I have never asked for a limit increase and this is the only credit card I use. We purchased an oak 3-unit cabinets, two bookcases and a center TV unit. We were told this was "heritage-type furniture". The TV cabinet has slides that permit the doors to slide into the unit out of site while viewing. I believe it's against the law to sell used clothing unless it's a consignment store. I purchased a three piece washable pantsuit for $29.99 plus tax.
