Since AT&T Uverse Installed their service at my home on Feb. 12 2009 I have been complaining about the audio . I had to connect an alternative OPTICAL CONNECTION IN ORDER TO GET THE EXPECTED AUDIO. After many service calls that I consider where done with exelency by the technitians . I still have the same problems. I just activated my BofA debit card i received today and enrolled in online banking and was shocked to find 2 checkcard charges from CHECKCARD THE BOULEVARD ENTE 8002113152 C... for 10 dollars a piece when i NEVER even called them... Better World books, only gives like 5-10% of revenue to to non profits that supposedly help fund literacy programs, sounds good right? Now go to your local friends of library and find that all the good books for sale, are gone or have been priced up. It's because betterworldbooks takes the used books fron the friends of the libraries bookstores (for free) and makes a killing of of them. They also take books that people donate to the friends of library and have the ones they can't sell destroyed. The total atmosphere of this establishment has changed dramatically! Used to be a family oriented style place with a lot of "sit-downs" of Moms, Dads, kids, fun, laughter... no longer. Now the ambiance is more reminiscent of Pedro's Cantina than family. Still considerable "foot" and drive-in activity but 80% of the staff is Hispanic and one has to listen carefully (and speak slowly) to be understood in English. Plus, the language exchange is not something you would want a six year old to hear. The insurance company is wanting to refund me that amount of my warranty and leave me with a piece of furniture that is broken and can cause a harm to son. The bed could collapse and cause severe damage to my son. I live in California and they wanted me to go to Texas to choose a new bed when their is an Ashley furniture about 40 miles away from me. Ripoff when I bought a Proflowers 2/16/2008 item. They claim that I signed off my name, because they had the address. Since then they charged me 14.95 every month. They started 05/30/2008.
