A couple weeks ago I noticed my carpet getting very wet. I had no idea where or what was causing this. After a few days I realized it was coming thru the floor/wall under the air unit. Went on Mothers's Day for a nice, expensive dinner. Gave my car to valet. Realized the next day that my GPS and video ipod ($500 worth of equipment) had been stolen--with the chargers! Restaurant absolved themselves from any responsibility, but claimed they would check their surveillance cams and help as much as they could. Valet company accepted no responsibility (after making me file a claim form and wait 2 weeks for a denial), and offered no alternatives. I purchased a home security sytem from this company in June 2006. I called them in April to inquire about the expiration of this 3 yr. contract. I was told it would expire in June. They gave me the complete run around, telling me the package should have arrived but that they don't have tracking on overseas packages...huh? We made a reservation through these guys via their website, the content of which extolls the virtues of their simple, hassle-free and low-cost service. Nowhere on the website does it in fact mention that you will be charged a minimum fee after engaging the reservation process. I contracted with BJ Jones Construction to remodel my house. After damaging my house, and doing shoddy work that requires repair, they refuse to correct or repair their damage and poor workmanship unless I pay them more money than originally contracted. They also dug a trench across my neighbors yard--which they had been clearly instructed not to do, hired a sub-contractor to run the bob-cat, then refused to repair the damage or complete the pipeline project or to pay the sub-contractor they hired. I have done mysteryshopping for almost four years, and had many complaints about this company such as removing shops without you knowing AFTER you complete them and then not gettign paid for them. What I find so amazing is that the schedulers that assist you with the shops act as if they are getting cheated their pay if you get a premium commission. Often the schedulers can be rude.
