I was also taken by this company. We went into a survey for a free laptop. The catch was you had to choose 3 product trials and this was one I chose. They were only supposed to charge me for shipping and handling which was "supposedly" only $1.99, come to find out they charged my debit card for $97.41 for a future purchase. Merchant performed services which were not authorized. All the services performed were incorrectly or poorly performed. None of them actually fixed anything that was requested. Merchant incorrectly diagnosed the transmission and electrical problems. These were subsequently fixed correctly elsewhere. Dr. Dennis Cowart's eye clinic office in Bremen, Ga has the absolute worse administrative staff to be found. I went there for an inexpensive pair of glasses, found what I needed, paid for them without using my VSP. I spent around $180 for the glasses. Like many of the complaints in this forum, I, too purchased a brand-new dv6000se Media Center Edition from Best Buy (with their two-year service plan) about a month after it was released (according to the sales person). I purchased a car at this dealership in White Bear Lake, MN. I loved the car but the payment was too high so they agreed to wait until my extended warranty refund from my trade-in was sent to me and that I could use that as my downpayment to lower my monthly payment. I applied for one of about 60 or 70 tutor positions with this company. They did one group interview with about 6 of us. It was extremely structured where we had to write down what each other said to questions, which was subject to each other's interpretation. For some reason, although I had just received my BS in 12/2007 and had a GPA of 3.9, I wasn't good enough for this company. I am left to believe it was based on my age. They do not keep their word, change their stories every five minutes and so on. My car has been damaged by hale and almost two months later it is not fixed yet.
