Drive does not show icon on desktop to communicate with. Drive has stopped receiving backups from Time Machine (Mac). The unit makes noise while turned off so I have to disconnect it from the elect receptacle. I have contacted the tech support of LaCie but I can't seem to get it through their heads that without an icon I can't perform various tasks like reformatting the drive. My husband, roomate and daughters went to a KFC/ Taco Bell on my lunch break. We ordered a big meal consisting of a stuffed burrito, 2 chicken quesidillas, 2 cheese wraps, 2 cinnamon twist, an order of nachos, and at least 4 soft tacos. We purchased a mattress and chair last week. It was to be delivered on Thursday between 1 - 4 pm but didn't show up till after 6:3opm after I took the afternoon off work to receive the shipment. Called to have locks re-keyed on my house and was quoted $39.00 trip charge and $10.50 a lock. Guy came out did 4 locks and charged me for 5 said one was a double bolt. The shocker was the bill which he said was $345.95. ($39.95 trip charge, $294.75 to re-key the locks, $85.00 labor charge and $26.25 tax). On Thursday morning, October 7, 2009 I was traveling out of DFW Terminal A Gate 37 and needed to have my shoes shined. I sat and waited for my turn. I too rceived a phony check and letter advising me I had won a million dollars. Having been married to a police officer and having a son who is a deputy sheriff and familiar with other such scams targeting primarily seniors, I decided to call the 866 number to see if my suspicions were correct. My i8 double bed (one chamber)was delivered on Sept. 1, 2009 and the pains in my neck and shoulders started the first night. First off, I was very disappointed on how cheap the mattress looked; very thin and not at all like the nice plush one like I tried at the store.
