IWC Homes, LLC installed insulation in my home. The final cost was $770.00 Owner (Gerald) stated that he could finance me through GE Money bank, but they (GE) require at least a $1, 000 balance to finance. I got the loan, and he was paid the $1, 000 right away from GE, and told me he would send me a check for the difference, which is $230 ($1000 - $770 = $230). Of course then I would then pay GE over the course of 1 year. I never received a check from him. It has been over 2 months, and IWC Homes, LLC has failed to keep our agreement and pay me the $230. I got an international check for $7000 from Canada and was charged $90 ($45 from Chase and $45 from the other bank). I have never heard or notified on these fees. I contacted a bank rep and he cannot find a fee table on Chase website. I thought by using check I would save from the wire-transfer fees, which is not true in this case as it's much slower (waited 5 weeks to clear) and more expensive. My issue is with Acer Laptop (Model: Acer Extensa 5630). Everyone should be bewaring because there's an Inbuilt Problem with this particular model. I was charged $1.98 for some kit I am not aware of. Come to realize, when I checked my credit card, they charged some other BS charge on there for 3.98 and one from skype.com for 137.98. Can you believe them? My credit card had thought they were fradulent so the charges did not go through and they were just suspended. When I self-clean my stove the outside(white) material gets stained from the heat and it is permanently stained. I have an extended warranty from Lowes, where I purchased this appliance. This place was one of the worst places I have ever been to. I was going to the IMAX movie and had some time to kill. It was two friends and myself we walked in got a table, it was not busy at all. The scam is to get in to your house by giving you a fair estimate and then charging you almost double the original estimate when the job is completed. They made life so miserable for us that my husband paid them just so they would leave. They were there for 2 weeks when they said it would take 1 week. Another company gave us the same original fair estimate and time frame. So, we were ripped off. We knew since we paid what he asked at the end we couldn't get our money back, but it was a lesson learned for us. Americinn Hotel in Hutchinson is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff were rude especially the General Manager (Brad Jacobson) The Hotel is small, Dirty, And smelly.But what got me the most was the security at this hotel. Had a 30, 000 miles service for $600.00, 6 weeks later I had a flat. Tripple A came and when he changed tire inform me that both rear tires was bald on the corners. It has been 5 weeks since my car was taken to this dealership to find out what was wrong with the car and to get the extended warranty co to approve or deny what has to be done. No rental we have been borrowing vehicles to transport my 90yr old Mother to appoints and shopping. I recently found a charge for "Norton Annual Renewal" on my Visa statement. The phone number 877-294-5265 is, I believe, a scam and will put you on hold indefinitely. I stayed on the line for over 30 minutes to see. I called Symantec who makes this product and they verified that they have NOT made any charges to my account. My daughter called me, in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, call collect from Akron/Canton airport and then from Cleveland, Ohio. I was not informed how much I would be paying per minute nor did the phone where she made the call state the cost. Neither was I informed of the location and that it was an international call.
