My son (a teen minor) was scammed. A pop up ad appeared on his computer to order this product for $1.50. He ordered this with his ATM card. He did not know that they would continue to send this product for $79.98 per month. The terms were not spelled out. I called the company to request to return the product and reverse his charges and they refused. They sold this product to a minor with a heart condition. At around 6:10PM, Wednesday, March 31, 2010, I made an attempt to board a Q65 MTA bus number 9851 heading to College Point, at the Main Street station. I trusted this auto mechanic with my new car. I brought it in for a check up and was informed it was the Alternator. I paid for the change of the alternator. Cope and McPhetres had an incentive program with Cash Rewards Inc. They have both gone out of business leaving customers of Cope and McPhetres and Ultimate watersports in the lurch for incentive reward pay outs. They owe me 10, 000 after the 3 years I waited and filed all the paperwork. Cash Rewards inc is in bankruptcy court in Texas - you can file with the federal bankruptcy court there but it will be a long line of people a head of you. This company is is under investigation. Not only for fraud, forgery, grand theft, elderly abuse but for ripping off employees too. This "service" sends a letter on what looks like stationary from the State of California directing that you must submit a Stmt of Information along with $225 immediately. Unfortunately, it is a complete SCAM. Not only do they not filing any such form, the State of California will penalize you for not sending in the Stmt on time . The form fee is actually only $25 to the State but with the fines can run up to $600 . This, along with the $225 you paid the SCAMMERS. I hope this warning helps others . It would have helped me. I originally went into a monitoring contract with another company to monitor our alarm and I never had a issue with them. Started having issue with this company not responding to an alarm or the alarm going off in the middle of the night for no reason. Like other people on this forum, I had a Carnival Sea Miles card. In December when my points converted to fun points, I lost over 70, 000 points. I even have an e-mail from David Canen at Sea Miles stating my points, but I Barclay's says I don't have proof of my points. Pro body usa took £73.89 from bank account without my consent. They advertised a Colon Cleanse capsule 'free trial' as long as I paid £3.75 for postage costs. A month later, I noticed that they had taken over £73 from my account. I managed to trace this horrendous company to a location in the north of England, and spoke to a woman who did not have a good command of the English language. She tried to mention something about 'Terms and conditions' to which I mentioned the Consumers Protection Act 1967.
