Just got a divorce and now I am responsible for the primary mortgage which my X had been paying. I have always paid the secondary mortgage, rental property mortgage and every other living expense. I see that there are many posts here regarding Sans Financial and Colothin/Colo Cure and their scam business practices. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and recommend that all who have been cheated by them do the same. Just type ftc in a google search engine and you will get to the right site. My experience: I did not receive the product, and did not hear a word until five months later when I received a collection letter from Sans Financial claiming I owed 138.00 dollars for Colothin. I have been bringing my two small dogs to this dog groomer for over a year. Two women run the business, one of whom is pleasant, the other is always abrupt. I liked the haircuts and the place seemed clean so I continued to go (at least one of the women was nice). Yesterday, I dropped off the dogs for a 9:30AM appointment at 9:15AM and I was told they would be ready around 3PM, but to call first. I have spoken with Bank of America regarding these 14.95 withdrawals that I overlooked on bank statements...I have NO idea who these people are, and certainly have never authorized the payments. The bank said they would work to find out who they are, and gave me a temporary credit...but said depending on the outcome, may have to NEGATE the credits!? Incident = On March 8th, I contacted Verizon to request installation of their new FIO bundle system. I was assured by the agent that what I would get would be FIOs and I accepted and ordered Internet, TV and Telephone. TCF and other banks in Michigan are deliberately batching their charges so that they maximize their overdraft fees. I had a debit account with $100 in it. I had 4 transactions in the same day in the following order. $20, $30, $35, and $90. The bank paid them all and charged me 3 overdraft fees. I questioned them about it and they said that after the $90 debit, the remaining 3 transactions were OVERDRAFT.
