Bridge Street Medical Associates
I am diabetic and need testing strips. Was working late on computer (that's my profession) and realized that it was getting late and was time to wrap up my day. I usually test my blood each night before bed so as to do my Insulin injections correctly, when I noticed I was out of my testing strips ( I knew I was low but it's a cartridge type of unit and I thought I had one or two more strips to go). I was out of strips which in my view constituted an emergency! So I called the answering service of my HMO (Bridge Street Medical... read full review »

Webroot.com
I tried Webroot AV for about a year and found the product to invasive, required too much baby sitting. The annual anniversary of my Webroot purchase just came around. They have RECURRING BILLING, and want me to re-up. I have the right, of course, to 'opt-out', just click here.
Well it seems that to avoid the recurring billing and leave Webroot, one must provide the registration code they initially used to UNLOCK the product. Is that great or what? What customer service. Great e-commerce.
If you had/have webroot AV, keep that license code handy. Thumbs down, . read full review »

I placed an order in July and was told items would be shipped in 6 weeks, charges were placed on my charge card and items were never recieved. A refund was requested but never done and correspondances with Craig via email, merchandise was promised to be shipped, refunds were requested but not put thru and still to date they have not refunded my charge card. I believe an investigation into this company is warranted and the better business bureau should be contacted along with filing of fraud charges with the states attorneys office. Webincomeusa.com
I signed up my wife for this in the spring. They immediately started beating the drum to get us to do TV advertising. We didn't have the money for that. What I have since ascertained is that the webincomeusa business model is really an affiliate account for Amazon.com. The difficulty in my case comes in that webincomeusa set up what looks to be a nice website under my domain name, that points sales to Amazon as intended, BUT...they never filled out the Amazon.com affiliate information for my site, so NO sales get credited to my... read full review »

They are dirty cheats, and I know that there are more people out there that have been scammed by their organization. I began receiving these same phone calls yesterday. They called me several times at work and on my cell phone. The persons name on my report is David Jones. They did send me a fax last night telling me how much I supposedly borrowed from Advance Cash USA. I admit I have taken a payday loan out, but never from this company. They called me as an "unknown caller", but told me to call them back at 347-901-4184. The guy on the phone said he worked for David Jones as his legal assistant. Giant Eagle Gompany
Giant Eagle Retail stores in Ohio do not train us well at all. Then the customer gets mad when things take time, and myself as an employee has to take the abuse of the customers. The company does not even let you tell what happened. There is a manager at the BlackLick store Susie N/A they just automatically assume the customer does not or is not a lair. They pay like crab, and expect you to be belittled and look up to management like their god. cerbman*healthforever/fit factory
Found a fraudulent charge on my credit card statement. I have never heard of or visited any such website. Upon googling "cerbman*healthforever" I found numerous complaints of the same nature and that their company is now known as fitfactory. They somehow have my credit card information and an old email address of mine and have charged me for no products but simply access to their site which is frankly ridiculous. No one would pay $29.95 monthly just to access a website where in they would have to spend more money just receive any... read full review »

Jonathan Harkness, a liquor-store regulator from Washington state, came to know ``Jorge Carlos'' in late 2006, when Carlos posted a Surefire flashlight for sale on eBay using a Miami street address.
Harkness bid $90, and after an exchange of e-mails on AOL, sent Carlos a money order. But the address turned out to be a private P.O. box, the high-tech flashlight never arrived, and Harkness realized he had been ripped off.
So in early 2007, he wrote his congressman, laying out his dealings with the mysterious eBay seller from South... read full review »

Yahoo Email Account Hacking
We received this report from one of our readers.
Her account was hacked, and the scammer was using it to sending a distress email to her boyfriend asking for money.
Some quick advise to protect your email passwords:
1) Do not use the same login password for your social networking accounts and emails. We recommend that you use different passwords for each site.
2) Treat it like a bank account, only login using SSL pages (i.e. httpS://)
3) Try not to use public computer to access your primary emails (e.g. internet cafe).

Chinese Shopping Site
This one worries us, and its risky to deal with them. If you find these at ebay.com etc and not from the trade portals, its risky.
1) Domain name registered in less than a month, and its setup ready to sell with a bunch of products.
2) The "About US" page does not tell anything much "About them"
3) The "Contact Us" page is not ready.
4) The "Payment info" is badly presented.
The first point is not a key factor, because everybody has the right to setup a shop within a short time period to sell stuff... read full review »

Two years later, she says, she's stuck with two sites that can't be updated. Since the designer registered the names himself, only... read full review »

We drove from Texarkana to look at car this dealership had online on October 23, 2010. It was the first time to buy from that website and going to be the last. I bought MS Office and paid for it and never received it. They charged initially $8 for shipping and later requested an additional $20 and held the shipment until I paid the additional $20. I though for the extra money they will overnight it but instead they used USPS first class mail for less than$0.95 and for some reason it got lost in the mail. 20 bucks for an "authentic" NBA jersey? These things retail for $180 usually and I know first hand the actual wholesale cost of an NBA jersey is typically over $60 so I'n not too sure how these can really be authentic. Maybe really good copies for only twenty bucks and in the end I guess it doesn't matter. You won't probably get that hologram symbol on the tag, but if you are just going to have people think you bought the real thing then I suppose knock yourself out and support these fraudsters. read full review »
