For the second time in two months I have received books that I did not order, and from authors that I do not want to read. Trying to get this resolved by phone is not doable since they have a computerized system which does not respond to questions. They do not have a phone number by which you can speak to a human voice. The next time this happens to me I will go to the authorities about them. I have read the numerous letters of complaints and basically they say the same thing. I purchased fuel from the 7-11 gas station on Post Road in Indianapolis, Indiana back in October 2005 while on my way to New York. I put about 13 gallons of gas in my 2004 Isuzu Rodeo, bought some refreshments and got back on the interstate. Less than 3 miles down the road my car began to lurch and billow thick clouds of white smoke out of the exhaust. I purchase a bedroom set in Jan, 06 from Bassett Furniture in Charlottesville, Va. Along with my $4000 furniture, I also purchased a $199.95 five year warranty from Stainsafe. I have a checking account with Wells Fargo for about a year now and it has been nothing but a hassle, they charge a fee for everything! First of all a customer can not use the check card as a debit card because when the merchant swipes it, it is then processed as a credit card so the bank will avoid a processing fee. I have unfortunately had the experience of dealing with Apex Management concerning my expired gym management. Although their contract seems legitimate they don’t seem to abide by their own expiration dates. Continually my credit card was charged for months after the termination date on the contract. I have 5 Hampton Bay ceiling fans and tried to locate a contact number for them when two of the fans began to fail. This web site listed a phone number that the writer said was a direct line to Home Depot. I called that number (1-877-527-0313) and found that it was answered by Hampton Bay. The person I spoke to was very helpful and is sending replacement parts and installation information free of charge. About 6 months ago I had the ABS repaired at a Chrysler dealer in Iowa and paid $600.000 (442 .00 ICU part and 127.00 for labor) to have the Integrated Control Unit replaced (ICU - contains many parts including the ABS pump). I purchased 2 sets of Hampton Bay solar landscaping lights for a gift. The stakes that go in the ground were plastic and after being in the ground a month or so the starting breaking off and as of now 6 months after purchase they have all broken off. I AM ANGRY!. I had my GE microwave/range wall unit installed on February 10, 2006 and I am so unhappy. My reasons are: The oven fan comes on when you set the bake time and remains on sometimes 2 hours after you have turned it off. I have a new 2006 Toyota Corolla. It "clicks" and jerks when shifting from Park to Reverse or Drive to Reverse. The shifter sticks at times when shifting and the car sways when driving.
