I purchased this TV in March of 2006. I had a service problem with it two times. I contacted Sony after troubleshooting. I was told to take it to a Sony service dealer. Do not use Sears Home Central for any home repair work. I contracted with them for an air conditioner in June. The unit was installed after the promised time on the contract which is not actually the complaint. They promised to obtain the necessary permits which was never done. I had ordered a camera on Nov. 26th 2006 online using a credit card. I called a week later to determine why my order had not been processed. Unknown to me there is a required confirmation call on the customers part. Finally the order was processed over the phone. My camera arrives on Dec. 10th 2006. Last week I made a purchase for a free 15 day trial of the thin tabs and all I was to pay was the shipping charge of $4.95. I concur with others who have had bad experiences with Wilmington Finance or their loan servicing division - Morequity. I would not recommend doing business with them. While I was aware of the 3-year prepayment penalty provision when I signed the loan from Wilmington Finance, I did not realize the inconvenience and magnitude of a penalty of 5% of the remaining balance. We consented to a 90 minute presentation that lasted 4 hours and consented to their vacation plan while in Playa del Carmen Mexico. However before we left - 5 days later - decided this was not for us. It cost us almost $1500 for this foolish mistake. We did get out but at that price. They said there was NO get out clause. My complaint has to do with roaches. I visited the restaurant today with my family for lunch I had kids and my whole family there and I wasn't paying attention to the table or the floors, things people usually don't worry about when eating at a restaurant that I thought was clean. We purchased a front load washer and dryer in 1999 from Sears, I've tried on phone to get help with problem machine quality is is very poor. The tub spider (trans) completely oxidized and came apart. I'm a commercial laundry mechanic for 26 yrs. The only way i can purchase part i need is to purchase new tub assembly. No one at Sears would give me any assistance. If you are a customer of airtel prepaid USA call India then be careful, keep checking your account (money) regularly. They are deducting extra money on each call. It happened with me today itself. They deduct $0.02 extra. When I called up their customer support. They accept there is a mismatch of figures and glad that they will take action with in 24 hours. Let me see. Company is self insured and administered by BCBS of Georgia. BCBS has refused payment for radiation therapy for a prostate cancer patient. Their excuse is that the treatment is not FDA approved. This is not true because it is covered by Meducare. They consistently pay network providers as out of network. Some claims are refused the same day they are submitted. Beware of store credit cards issued through GEMB. I had my identity stolen after I got a GEMB card through Lowes. I've also seen similar horror stories posted on other websites. The thieves have already tried to buy 2 cars in my name in addition to $8000 in charges so far. In 2003 we purchased a used 2001 Lexus RX300 and the extended warranty for $1500 from George Harte Infiniti in West Haven Connecticut. The warranty we purchased was for a further 60,000 miles (giving us 100,000 miles) or 48 months which ever comes first. I was contacted (via the school I attend that sells my information to these companies) by this company who sells magazines and strong-armed into purchasing a magazine subscription. I was assured I would not be billed, however, I was immediately billed. There is nothing the credit card company can do for me as it is a ‘pending’ transaction. This is a good one. These people get you a $500 unsecured credit card for a one time fee of $79.95 and a monthly maintenance fee of $19.95. The card is called Horizon Gold. When you go to the web site it isn't there. When you call the phone number it's disconnected. What's a girl to do?
