Then when I received my July statement their it was another $84.97 charge. I called my card provider again to dispute these charges. Signed up for a free credit report, and had to join, got kicked out of the process, got back in, have been charged this fee for about a year. Did not know what it was for, and neglected to verify why it was being charged. Tried to contact the 800 number and have tried for 7 business days in a row. I have called in both morning and afternoon hours, waited on hold between 15 minutes and 1.25 hours before giving up on getting an actual person to handle my questions.

I was told to contact a certain courier company and give them my personal info along with the "secret" number so I could claim my 750,000 pounds sterling(I guess thats what that funky symbol is). After a little research, I found there is no "Brittish" Nat'l Lottery. Received $250 wireless speaker from Brookstone as gift from company I work for, exchanged with gift receipt for tool set and a gift for my wife. Wife wanted me to exchange the gift I got her but I left the receipt in my pants which ended up in the wash. The Manger at Brookstone (looked all of about 19) said she couldn't let me exchange it because I didn't have the receipt (I didn't want money back, I just wanted to exchange it for something else) as this was against their "Return Policy". I was in the Hardees in Rushville, IL yesterday and it was so hot in there we had to leave. I was told the air conditioner had been broken for approximately a week. It could not be fixed because the person in charge was on vacation and no one else was authorized to call for repair. It would not be fixed until this person returned.
This is too stupid for words. Someone should be appointed to handle emergencies in the absence of boss, manager, etc.

I opened an account with Juniper/Barclay's in May 2007. I requested a balance transfer of a Well's Fargo deferred interest account in June 2007. Juniper/Barclay's paid the wrong person. This is the first time that I have encountered a mortgage company that calls daily after the 1st of the month to ask when they can expect my payment. The payment is due between the 1st and the 16th but by the 2nd, they are calling. In the past, I have dealt with Ameriquest and Countrywide and never had anyone call to find out when or if a payment should be expected.
They even suggested once that I make a payment over the phone by cheque, cost - $22.00 to avoid late fees, and still charged me a late fee. What is going on with this company. read full review »

This morning I went to 3 Walgreens stores in Decatur, IL looking for the new release DVD Flushed Away which was advertised for release on Feb 20 (today). About 15 months ago I bought a Riccar vacuum cleaner. Within a few months the motor burned out and the dust brush holder fell off. The vacuum cleaner store replaced the motor. A month ago that motor burned out too. I took the machine back and they ordered another new motor. I have a 2002 BMW 330i convertible. Yesterday (7/20/2007) I was driving on an expressway in Baltimore, Md when my car stalled. The highway was extremely busy and my husband and I are lucky we did not get killed. There were several lights (error lights) lit up, eml, check engine soon, brakes and one more like a triangle.
