I'd give this bank zero stars if I could. I am a business owner and when using my banking debit card the night before a huge presentation where I would need to pay several vendors, including catering, I was told my card was denied. When calling the bank's after hours line, I was asked for my member number (the branch never gave me this number.) I have been receiving calls daily since around 12-15-2007. I have called Secure Horizons on three occasions to get them to stop the calls to my cell phone. I have been told it takes six to eight weeks to process my request, which is absurd. I was told it was because of the size of their database. My cell is in the national 'do not call' list and Secure Horizons has been advised of this all three times I contacted them. If you have been ripped off by this company: Call your credit card company at once and dispute the charge, You have 60 days from the date the charge was on the card. E-mail the attorney General, the national BBB, the Florida BBB, the consumer Protection Company and the Canada Mounted Police. That is what I did. I reserved a Ford Expedition 4x4 with a ski rack in advance for my party of 6 to drive to Whistler. The agency did not have this car upon our arrival at 9:30 that night. I purchased all Ge profile appliances for my new home in November 30, 2007. The dryer started immediately to make a loud grinding noise. 9 Nov 07 I bought this washer. Didn't work. Called company and told to call for repair. Called repair daily for 4 weeks without a return call to set up appointment. Finally got a replacement washer. I ordered a free CD being offered by Tellman for which I was asked to give my debit card number to pay $5.77 S&H on 8/24/2007. When I received a email a while later stating that I could attend a seminar on list building for a charge of $29.95 I immediately sent an email cancelling my order. Earlier complaints about non delivery have been cured. Thank you for that. Now it seems the mail is not processed for delivery in a timely manner. Bills are late in delivery . Nokia 5300. Bought Aug 2007. Dec 2007 - screen has somehow broken from within. There are no visible cracks in the glass, however there is a sort of dark electronic EKG-like smearing against a white background, that is unchanged in shape and size. The display has the look of modern art. No icons or photos are visible which makes the whole thing pretty useless. Phone was in pocket; good one minute and not so fine the next. FIA card services added what they called a credit protection plan to my closed account that took a 3k bal to 7 k since 2002 with no purchases. This company is a scam! They do not even have a credit protection department, I have called over 20 times trying to get this problem solved any when they try to transfer me to that dept. the phone goes dead. My mother bought a van and my girlfriend acted as cosigner. But immediately, Wells Fargo switched the buyer and cosigner. So now, my girlfriend has a $30,000 van on her credit and is unable to even get a new credit card. We faxed the original contract to Wells Fargo 3times (once from within the bank) and they claim that they can't change the buyer/cosigner status because the underwriters are the one's who changed it. Last month I got a statement from Advanta for $4032. I paid immediately $3932 leaving a $100 balance. This month they charged me $36 in interest fees. Is this legal? This organization advertised a $4.95 three day trial offer for their services. In the fine print of the 'agreement' they commit you to automatic and unending renewal of service at $39.95 a month if you don't cancel within the three days. The advertisement is clearly intended to sucker you into trying their service so they can later claim that you must have known what they were up to because you agreed to their terms and conditions. Purchased two ipod transmitter/chargers for Christmas from this company. The sound is VERY distorted while playing music from your ipod in the car. I have emailed, faxed, and called MULTIPLE times. On January 12, 2008 I was billed through my debit card for $59.99 for an order of Heart Guardian. I had not heard of Heart Guardian, nor have I ever placed an order for it. I do use Viapro, a male enhancement supplement, which I found on a website called themenschoice.com. This website, as I found out, also advertises Heart Guardian. The only product I have ever used my debit card to order online is Viapro. I have complained to Viapro (yesterday) but haven't heard from them. My biggest mistake was sending them a check instead of using a credit card. At least with a credit card you can dispute the charges. Order business cards in July, 2007, after a month of receiving nothing I started contacting customer service... I kept getting "2 weeks and you will get your order".
