We hired these guys to streamline our computer network and had to hire another firm to fix their mess. The owner Erik sold us on MS Exchange as the be all end all to our email problems and when it didn't work right he blamed us for the problems. He sold us a Dell server then told us how to scam Dell and get our money back. I received a debt collection notice from afni, Inc in Novemebr, 2007 for $1065.42. The debt collection was for an AT & T Cingular Account. I immediately went to the afni, Inc website and asked for the account number, date and time I supposedly set up the account with At & T or Cingular. Made an agreement with a G.E.Services collection agency. I paid the bill in full and have the proof that the check was cashed by my bank in april, 2007. Since then 2 other agencies have tried to collect the same debt stating that it has not been paid at all. I've sent the proof to both collection agencies w/no results whatsoever. There is road construction going on in Bartow County on Rt 113 to widen the road. For the last week we have been sitting in traffic during peak hours. Instead of doing this work at night when roads are not being traveled as much these people do it when people are trying to get to work, get to town, or in the evening to get home. I came home tonight and sat in traffic not moving for 20 minutes, this is not acceptable to me nor should it be accepted by others. Word of Warning Re: Replacement Insurance: If you think you have replacement insurance, even if it is a top of the line policy, you may get virtually nothing if there is an exclusion clause. Don't get scammed. We thought we were covered & paid a hefty price for it. Last month I found 2 charges on my credit card from ez-saver. When I called the number on my statement I found out that Pro Flowers had given them my credit card number and authorized them to charge my card. They would only reverse one of the charges. I purchased rust color towels in linen'n'things. I washed them with other towels in warm water. My beige Avanti towels came out of the wash with orange blotches all over them. I called the store manager in the Holmdel store. She replied that I should have washed them in cold water. The washing instructions say to wash in warm water. I get more then25 to 30 phone calls a day by these people looking for payment. I talk to them my husband talks to them and they still keep calling. We are both in Real Estate and with the market the way it is we are just barely hanging on to service. We tell them that as soon as we can send in money we will and when we set up a payment plan or try to negotiate the bottom $ amount they agree and still call. One evening I had 2 teenagers with credentials come to my house asking for donations of $15 towards "The Good Shepard Nursing Home" for those needy people to be there and can't afford there stay. Chicago Tribune had some kind of assistance of a kind of match in donations and as a thank you (supposedly) the donator would receive a 3 month subscription. This company says "A free 14 day trial" then charges you before the 14 days are over. $90 dollars every couple of weeks. We paid $41 to see a performance of the Metropolitan opera performance which was 25 minutes late, the audio was not fixed until act 2 and there were 3 interruptions to the audio and visual performance. This was Sunday Feb 18 . We were advised by the theater to arrive early for seating, we did so arriving at 2:21, it was more than an hour to performance time. The entire experience was disappointing and we were then made late for a dinner engagement by 30 minutes. First of all I really wish I would have read these posts before I decided to enter into a business transaction with Fortuna. Moe from Fortuna enterprises sold me off $16,000.00 in merchandise. He put in writing and verbally committed that the items were refurbished in GRADE A condition (like new) and that they had 14 day warranty against defect. A little over half the 75 pcs. were broken and non-functional. He won't respond to e-mail nor phone calls and won't honor the warranty. A consultant (Heather Wilson) will contact you by phone it will of course come up as Unavailable. I was to pay a collateral payment before I was to receive my loan. I was faxed a SIMPLE five page contract and was told to sign it and fax it back when I had my cash in hand. The contract looks like a 10 year old prepared it and the CEO signature looked forged.
