In October 2007 I purchased a 2 year cell phone contract with T-Mobile from a Simply Wireless stand at Landmark Mall Alexandria. However, the voice mail set-up did not work. I tried to fix it with T-Mobile, but they referred me back to Simply Wireless. At Simply Wireless they could not fix it either and referred me back to T-Mobile. I purchased a bathroom vanity and mirror/cabinet which mounts above the vanity. All the screws holding the door hinges on were stripped when I received it. No instructions were included either. I called and emailed numerous times. Even though the units had a one year warranty, I was told that since I didn't report the problem within 3 days of receiving the units I had no claim. They sold me a one-year maintenance agreement which included 2 service visits. They provided one but refused to honor the other one because more than 12 months had passed since I purchased the contract. So I pre-paid for service and then they just kept my money and didn't provide the service. The owner was ridiculously rude to me. M&T Bank does the exact same thing. They manipulate deposits and withdrawals to maximize banking fees. This is so unfair but it is how they make their money. And the worst part is that no one cares because it only affects people who don't have money. Our only recourse is not to use them and this may have an impact. I am constantly and daily being called by MCM for a bill I never owed with a company I never did business with. I sent them the paper work they requested and still they call me and tell me to pay the balance which they have dropped from 900.00 to 585.00. I can not get a word in with the person I am forced to speak with and I can't understand him. Now I am forced to involve an attorney for a bill I never owed. It makes me sick. I filed for Cigna disability and was told that I MUST file for SSI disability to get my Cigna claim. They then referred me to a "helpful" associate who assisted me in filling out the SSI claim. I just started to receive Cigna $, but denied SSI at this time. 1 week later I receive a call from this "helpful" person asking me the status of SSI, one week later I get a letter from Cigna and my employer that I will have to pay all my own insurance and no longer receive disability. Beware of this SCAMMER. They are a fake staffing company that hires promotional models for events. The bill the client and keep all the money never paying the model (sub- contractor). There are 100's of complaints and people are trying to gather information to form a class action lawsuit. 2 problems with that. #1 there is no "real" information on the company all fictitious names and address. To anyone out there who has dealt with First Equity Credit Card bank, I pity you. Their practices are deceptive almost to the point of criminal. I was accepted an offer for a card from First Equity at 12% apr. When I received the card the apr was 23%. I decided to keep the card for emergencies only, and whenever I have used it I paid off the balance in full. I too was a victim of Easy Saver. I saw a pending charge of $1.95 within a day of ordering and express delivery from Pro Flowers. I saw the offer for a shipping rebate on my next order within my order confirmation from Pro Flowers. I clicked on it, but was not prompted to put in my credit card number. They say upfront that it could take up to 2 weeks for delivery, with a delivery confirmation number within that period of time. I ordered on 4/18 and they charged my credit card. I special ordered a sofa and loveseat from Lazeboy last August, 2007. I finally received everything I ordered in November, 2007. Called for yearly maintenance service for heat pump. Customer service person told me that I had 2 free maintenance services before 12/08. We set up an appointment and she told me they could set a date, but could only say the hours between 8 and 5 PM. I told her I had to be at work at noon and would like them to come in the morning.
