We were bullied into signing their contract. We were on our honeymoon and did not have a steady income. We told them that we cannot afford it, and they insisted that they could lower the premiums. My nephew went to the Caltex Garage in Underwood Road and filled up with petrol and asked for his break fluid to be checked. He needed to have break fluid put in but instead of the attendant putting in the break fluid, he gave it to my nephew's worker to put it and he put the break fluid into the engine!!! Now it looks like the engine has seized!!! The manageress could not be bothered with what had happened and now my nephew is sitting with a huge problem as this van is used for his business and the only source of his income. I took my Kia Picanto in for it's 60 000 km service, on Tuesday 1 March 2011. Chantelle phoned me to say that the clutch needed repairs and it would cost aproximately R6000.00. I then informed her that I have a maintenance plan. Surely they need to check these details before phoning a client informing them of what is wrong on their vehicle. I bought a second-hand car from a local car dealer who assured me that I was getting a good deal. He basically guaranteed that ALL his cars were in tip-top shape with very little maintenance needed after purchasing. He named many happy customers and as he is an established name in the community, I trusted him. What a disappointment. To date, the car has cost me R3000 with a further R3000 necessary just to make it roadworthy and safe to drive. on sunday 27/02/2011 we visits the Dros @ potchefstroom The aniverary was a bad experience the music so loud that we ask to turn the volume off a bit when we got our food the pork chops was onlyahalf cm thick and over done the mix grill was cold and dry/the chicken we order was still vries inside the manager try too compancade with a replacement but 9 out off 10 where finish with there meal the replace meal was still not ready. my houshold insurance was cancelled by the insurance house and they have not informed me of this. I have revered the matter to Scorpion Legal on the 3rd of January 2011 and up to date they have failed to deliver any service. Why am i paying this company a monthly fee????? their license should be taken away. who will be liable to cover my losses if I have a break-in - Scorpion Legal?????????????? Poor service in general.Staff don't care. They never come back to you. Promises made and when things don't work out all you get is sorry. Well sorry doesn't cut it. I don't think complaints are read or taken seriously. I have sent a number of complaint to head office. I have not once received a reply. I am moving all my contracts, 4 of them, including my internet connection to another company. I have been with Autopage for 10 years now. We bouhgt a Jacuzzi (Fado) from Amanda at Spatech, on 3 December 2010. Since the beginning the air blower didnt work properly, whenever you switch it on it smells like plastic and then it trips, the wooden cover is coming apart and there are places that is not varnished, there are no sand underneath the jacuzzi there are only wooden sticks, they were suppose to give us everything that was right to set it up. A little 1969 Beetle a car that should not acquire 2 hours plus service - for an oil clean, and a fan belt change. Charging her a “discount pensioner rate” of R356 for service alone.
