Hired Mike's Painting and Drywall as a result of a fire/smoke damage claim in my home. He ripped off the insurance company for thousands of dollars, skimmed on his work and walked off the job and did not complete the work he started. He did not paint the inside of closet doors, put caulk where needed, only gave one coat of paint on trim and walls when he got paid for two, he insisted he put on two coats of paint so he then charged by the hour for something he already got paid for to add a second coat of paint. Company had salesman come out & claim he was selling a water purification system & did tests to show the purified water. After the fact, we found out it was a water softener not a water purification system. The salesman even agreed to rent our cottage just to try to get the sale. This company has been calling repeatedly, not saying anything, but just calling and hanging up on a continual basis. You can hear the person breathing on the line. Our oil burning hot water furnace stopped working the night of Thursday Jan. 15th 2009 over here in East Greenbush, when temperatures were below 10 F. My advise is to pay by paypal so that you can contact them when angie charges you again and again after cancellation.
