I am writing this post in attempts of resolving an ongoing and seemingly endless issue and hopefully spare others from having a similar experience. Advice ---- go elsewhere to purchase. My husband and I paid Starlight Ranch/Jim Baird a $275 deposit in July 2007 and started paying board for our horse. We were actually saving our spot, since our horse did not arrive from out-of-state until the beginning of September. Hi, I had applied for an interenet connection from Hathway in the month of Jan. Their sales executive came to us and sold the package. I made the payment and still now i haven't got the connection, when i call customer care they hanp up the phone. I tried reaching their corporate number but no one from Hathcway even care to cll back and say please collect your money we cann ot give you the connection. I order the upgrade from 5 to 10 megs download speed in the DSL Internet service form Embarq on March 18 and was told that the work can be done until next Friday March 21 and that the job will be done around 7 PM. This never happened. After so many phone calls to Embarq and every customer service rep giving me a different answer I decided to file this complain because 9 days after that order I still with my old speed and sometimes is worse now. As an incentive to switch to triple play Verizon FiOs, Verizon flaunted a $200 Gift Certificate from Best Buy. It was communicated when I had installation in the month of January 2008, the 22d of which month I received a confirmation letter for the package. I am a very dissatisfied customer with Lowe's and Black & Decker. I am dissatisfied with Lowe's only because this isn't the first product I've had a problem with. They should do a better job screening the products they sell. That's my only beef with Lowe's. They are a fantastic business otherwise. I bought phone card for $10.00 online htt://www.concom.com. Card name "USA Saver" and I was told I had a 1400 minutes to call Zimbabwe. Once I dialed the # I was told 49mins. On top of that I received an email that my pin had been recharged from my credit card. Scamm. I never requested for a recharge, they just took money from my credit card without my consent. This agency has been calling my cell phone for the past 3-4 months for a person who gave my phone number as their number. I have talked to many agents to have my phone number removed from their database. I was told by each agent that my number had been removed, however I continue to receive calls. Verizon offered a $99 19" HD TV with their triple play. I got the service November, 2007 and here is is March, 2008 and no TV. I have been trying to sell my Island One Resort's Bryans Spanish Cove timeshare for three years to no avail. I was told last year that I could put my Week 6 timeshare up for rent this year. E-Z Movers lo-balled me on the estimate, and then when they came to make the move they said it would be up to $1000 more for packing materials. They said they need wrap everything with shrink wrap to protect it, pictures, chairs, tables, mirrors, etc. I told them to wrap them in blankets, but they refused. I had a similar experience as a previous individual. I was led to believe that I would be prompted to CHOOSE whether or not to continue with the magazine subscriptions. Needless to say, I was never prompted and was very displeased having observed individual charges for each of 4 magazines. On February 14th, PeoplePC charged me $104.40 for Internet access that I never purchased or authorized. I do not know how they secured my credit card information. We did not purchase anything from this company. I contacted them at 8:00 am PST and spoke to an agent. We called Comcast to find out where we could buy the phone modem so we could stop paying 3.00 a month to rent it and what we found out was really irritating. They told me that the phone modem cannot be purchased by the public that we have to have it for the phone service so we have to pay the 3.00 a month to rent it. They have a minimum $150 order, so I needed 30 dozen bracelets for a school dance and other items to get to $150- they called and said the bracelets were on backorder until the middle of May. A lady from our job was passing around a book for her daycare full of items. Many of the staff members order several things from this book including myself in January, well needless to say we have yet to receive the items and yet all are money has been taken and deposited. I have called the daycare several times in regards to this matter and the Director (Marvin) states it's out of his hands to call the corporate office. After a little over a years faithful service to company which included being a Driver Trainer and Road test Examiner. I was involved in a single vehicle (my Truck) accident. The company placed me on unpaid suspension waiting the results of the safety committee investigation. I made a collect call from a pay phone at the airport, Newark, NJ. Legacy LD billed $25 through AT&T. Outrageous! Legacy said "we own the pay phones and can bill anything we want." FCC forwards complaints to the vendor in an effort to resolve the complaint. My letters to Legacy received no reply, but I received a 90% credit very soon after making my complaint to the FCC. AT&T functions as a third party vendor and will credit back late charges and provide 90 day period in order to resolve the issue with Legacy. read full review »

I also purchased the program through New Age Marketing Solutions. I spent $398.95 for my websites. I also spent $2995.00 for my advertising. I spent a lot of time doing advertising and checking my commissions everyday for 5 months. I went to the BBB and the Attorney General. I even wrote letters to them so that they would know how upset I was. They responded and told me to give it time, which I had been. I fell for the cheap price and great deal. But they lied about everything and when I wanted to cancel service they charged a cancellation fee even after they told me there would be no charge. I made a mistake and purchased tickets to the Disney on Ice Nemo show in the wrong city. I live in Denver and somehow purchased tickets for Minnesota. I called Ticketmaster.com and they told me they could not do anything for me. They were not willing to refund or exchange the tickets. It tooks 3 calls to get to talk to a supervisor, the first and second time I got hung up on when I asked for a supervisor and the final time the supervisor was unsympathetic and was not willing to do anything. I am not going to use ticketmaster.com anymore which is going to be hard since I have a 4 year old and ticketmaster.com has a monopoly on the ticket sales business. read full review »

I am complaining about the people complaining about this Horizon Card. Do you know how to read? I have received dozens upon dozens of these offeres and everyone of them explains clearly, before you register for it and accept the offer, that depending on the line of credit, a certain one time fee will be withdrawn from your checking account. We were FAPPED last fall and decided to go for the Platinum package to get more upload bandwidth. Got FAPPED again in February and connectivity virtually stopped at night. During the day was tenuous at best. Decided to revert subscription from Platinum to back to Silver so we are only paying $50 for nothing.
