lost money
I purchased one greendot debit card from Walgreens.
The cost was $4.95 and I also deposited $30 into the account.
I made an on-line purchase of about $28 and everything went well.
I then deposited $20 more, but the next time I used it I was told that my card was registering empty. I made numerous call to greendot,
but was never able to talk to an actual person.
I tried to check my account on-line, but could not get into the site.
Now $20 some dollars isn't much, but I don't want greendot to get away from ripping anyone esle off, although I'd like my money returned.

disputed charges
I was on the internet and purchased a snowglobe. I only ordered one and they billed me for 3 due to their website misleading ordering page. I called the company immediately and I could not talk to them until the following day, because they were closed. However, I left a message, and called them back, and was reasured I would get my refund, and the order would only be for one. I then called Green Dot
and they refused to stop the hold on the two items I was billed extra for. They talked to me about how long it was going to take to straighten it out, so I called back the website for snowglobes and asked them to please enter the voided orders. I was told they had already done so. I then called back the green dot company and was given nothing but the run around. It is the 8th of June, and it started on the 2nd of June. My money is still being held by green dot.
I feel they have violated my right to dispute this order, but they refused to do anything!!! I need the money on my card to be taken off of hold immediately!!! Please help me! Dana Moschetti

sent me everything in spanish to start, inpossible to reach anyone by phone, money is flying out of my account without me using the card, i can't believe the american government allows this shit to happen

non manageable accounting
This stupid greendot crap is unbelievable. After purchasing a reloadable greendot visa and faxing all my personal info I never received my card. Then purchased a moneypak and went to load it an error pops up and tells me I will be getting a refund. CALLED THE 1 800 NUMBER AND THEY WERE EXTREMELY RUDE! I better get my refund within the 7-10 business days as they promised or I will make sure they lose a lot of customers. WARNING!!! DO NOT PURCHASE A GREENDOT CARD!!! They will just screw up your money and your account not to mention half the merchants dont accept them!!! THANKS FOR READING MY COMPLAINT.

stol my money on my card I put in $20.00 on 3-18-2009 and today I dont have any money on my card.
I put $20.00 on my greendot card on 03-18-2009 and I when to check my card to see if it work I try buying something at walgreen store and they said I olny have $2.26 left on my card how could this be I olny used my card two time and spend about $6.00 olny, please could you check my account and see what happen to my money.thank you santos hernandez.

Stole my money
On 02/06/09 at Rite Aid on Cherry and Bancroft I went to reload my GreenDot prepaid card not realizing it expired on 01/2009. It took the reload, but when I tried to use it to pay my bill, this is when it came to my attention. When I called Rite Aid, they referred me to GreenDot, where there is not one live person to speak with. Then I received another card in the mail. It was a mastercard, so I was thinking maybe they loaded my balance of 60.00 on that card so I tried using it and it said zero. So I called Rite Aid back to see if they had a live support number and they gave me a number where I reached a live operator and she said they could not transfer the balance of a Visa to a Mastercard so she would have to send me a refund and this was in the middle of Febuary and I still have not received my refund nor can I get in touch with anyone live...So basically they stole my money that I really need for a bill.

Terrible experience!
Bought a greendot reload card haven't been able to get money phonecard and three different sayings across the register declined, wrong card type, message edit error. Beware all!
