Evercom blocks my phone although my phone has no block from my phone company! My phone co., otelco, has assured me that it's not because of them! I don't understand why my neighbour, who is also my brother-in-law, and has the exact same phone service as I do, can accept calls from the jail my wife's in, but I cannot!!! Evercom makes a ton of money off people who are already in an unfavourable situation. I ordered photos online to be printed and picked up in the Naugatuck, CT CVS. While they were ready on time, half of them were cropped VERY poorly--to the point where it ruined the picture. Also the website stated that my total would be 57 cents due to the fact that I got 20 free prints for signing up online. I purchased a microdermabrasion machine for $6, 000.00. I was never advised how much my specific interest rate was however, when I asked a paralegal friend of mine to review the contract she said that my payments for 60 months for $6K were almost as much as her $10K 60 month Kia contract and her interest rate was 17 percent due to her credit so she thought I must really be getting ripped off. The product was advertised in paper of AARP in April of a Security ID Case. The check was sent and cashed 5/7/08. AARP took no responsibility for this ad. Two different stories i.e. "research department" and "we will note this to our market department. I have called the company and am awaiting them to call. On June 11/08 I went to pick up my silk suit that I had only worn once, from Metro dry cleaners. On the jacket I noticed that the buttons were undone and the collar was pressed straight up, this was odd to me, so I inspected the pants. For about 8 months, I have noticed that my Hughes internet connection has worked great in the AM, but come afternoon and evening, I can hardly even do basic navigation of the Internet. I have received many calls from them regarding an open account. They claim I owe them $500. I gave them the last 4 digits of my SSN which didn't match and my address which also didn't match. Apparently, I have the same name as someone who skipped on them. I am sending them a certified letter copying our state dept of consumer affairs instructing them not to call me any more. I have waited three months to get a final CO on my home electric and Victor always has excuses for himself not to complete the job.
