I have been scammed by one Mr. Austine Richard who claimed he is a US Naval Captain. We meet in tagged, and we got interested to each other. However, this company shields its identity information in its domain registration so that it is difficult for people to pursue their claims. That shield is now down. They are registered as a Delaware corporation, Getacoder LLC, owned and operated by the Valis Group, 501 Silverside Road Suite 105, Wilmington, DE 19809, phone 302-792-0175. This you would probably know right off as a scam but it is tempting at first. You get a letter in the mail with a check supposedly. It states that you have been chosen to be a Secret Shopper. The check has all required for authentic proof when you hold it to the light for finger print markings, borders, back signature lines, everything. The only thing is, its fake regardless. I purchased a BullyXtreme4 which is a piece of exercise equipment. When I got the product, it was obviously poorly made and not usable. I returned the product and got my money back, but the company never stood behind it to say what the problem was. They acknowledged the product was bad and unusable and complained that it's manufactured in Asia. It sounds like they're just a front for some Asian manufacturer and have no control over the quality. Was given the runaround several times after there was damage to my furniture. First spoke to the owner, who directed me to her husband, who never responded. Then finally got in touch with the "owner" who told me she had a family emergency and that was why I had not heard from her in 2 months. When I received the product I was informed of a trial period and would be charged $99.00 to my account after the trial period. On the merchant side this site is absolutely a nightmare. The technology is horrible. They do not verify reviews, so, if a competitor, ex employee or general troublemaker wants to leave negative reviews they DO NOT phone or email the reviewer asking for proof of a transaction. Verizon Wireless recently reduced the amount of memory in the Motorola Droid X phone from 16GB down to 2 GB without changing their advertising or telling customers of the change when it is purchased. I bought 4 tires in July 2o1o from the Wooster Ohio RKO. My bill was over $400 with road hazard. In March, I must of had a low tire and drove on it. I had my mechanic take it off the rim and put another one on so I could take it to RKO. They told me it was not covered because I had removed it from the rim--How was I suppose to take it in?? My experience with Open Range has been horrible. First of all, for the first four months I was receiving horrible download and upload rates, right around .5Mbs on the download side.
