Not trying to attract people away from this site, but I have found link hidden a very valuable resource for the New Zealand / TradeMe market. The site was set up by a few guys who were sick of being scammed or hearing of other scam victims. The forum is excellent and they have had results, gaining newspaper publicity. I ordered 25 4GB ipods on April 1st. I received 5 fake ipods about 4-5 weeks later. They finally recalled these and since be promising all along that mine are 'being shipped'. I paid with credit card on Paypal and have since filed a claim with my credit card, since Paypal only allows 45 days. Credit card allows 60. These were being shipping and in customs 3 weeks ago. Does anyone know if there are any honest Nigerians? They come on so nice and sweet, giving a gift to friends or family and bam they try to scam you out of your merchandise without giving a real payment. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe they were being honest and would make a purchase with real money. Verizon 4G Retail Store sold me a used phone when I paid for a brand new phone. They never said it was used. I have been a Verizon Customer for almost 10 years. I ordered a product from them on the 6th of August, and it took 3 days for it to be "fulfilled" Then another 7 days as "Awaiting shipment" After numerous e-mails I was told that the status won't update to "Shipped" until it clears customs in my country. Contracted Movecorp to ship my goods. They collected - slight hiccup on collection but I can let that slip. Got told goods would arrive end of November at destination port and would be cleared and sent to me. I purposefully booked a door to door service and paid extra for this so I wouldn't need to deal with customs officials. This company (gatheringground) will do anything to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. They will steal from you whenever possible. I paid usmb $3000 for a loan mod with my mortgage company HSBC. It has been over 5 months and havent heard anything on whats going on. I try to contact them only to speak to an answering machine and do not get a return call. From what I understand they have went bankrupt. I lost so much money with this company. They require you to pay by Western Union, but once they have your money they do NOTHING to honor their agreement.
