This heater, another cheap piece of crap made in China, stopped working in February; we bought it in October. Since Feb. 24, I have been given the runaround by customer service, saying variously that the part (fan motor) was on back-order, was not on back-order, that I would get it in two days, that I would get it in a week or ten days, etc. I still do not have the part, so I am giving up and requesting a full refund for the return of the heater. We had windows and doors installed by Weatherseal. There is nothing obviously wrong with the products, its the complete disregard Weatherseal have for us, the customer. Windows installed within a week which was good. They the faults that had to be rectified went on and on and on. I purchased laminated flooring and had their workmen put it in. They did a poor job as far as the cuts around the door frames. you could see huge gaps. Also there were gaps at the walls that even the base boards could not hide. Tried to order as advertised on TV. Phone was automated and after giving credit card information(first), the telephone order turned into a nightmare. TV Ad misrepresented items that you receive for costs as advertised. After 15 minutes of telephone badgering, I did not know what I had ordered nor the cost, stated "Cancel" to the automated machine (which did not reconize that command). I worked for Field Asset Services for 4 years. At first they paid on time and paid the entire invoice amount. The last year they would wait until the work was done and the photos were uploaded and then start with we were missing photos or there was not enought to support the work done. This last year they have not paid me for about 10 propertys that were completed and my workers have been paid and the dumping has been paid. I have called, emailed and have constantly complained. Old Republic Home Protection does not pay on there claims. I had a working A/C when I bought the property and I purchased the ORHP warranty. Shortly after I closed the property, the A/C failed. I had a Home Inspection Report that indicated that the A/C was working but Old Republic still refused to pay the claim siting that the claim was a pre-existing condition, Even though the policy clearly states that pre-existing conditions are covered. I want to share my experience with Dow Bond Plumbing. Started as a simple repair for less than a thousand, but Bond told me the current hot water delivery system was not up to code. We had five windows replaced about eight years ago by Champion. There are warrantied against failure for life. All five windows have failed and are foggy.
