I ordered furniture, was told it would be delivered in 2 to 3 weeks...I will be lucky to have it in double that. I found the same furntire elsewhere for less...I had to prepay for the furniture, yet they broke their end of the contract and don't want to refund my money. I advise others not to buy at Ashley. Beware of their policies...you prepay for the furniture, they do not deliver on time...IF you have a problem with the furniture, no matter what, after you accept it...it is in the contract that YOU must return the furntiure to the store...they will not pick it up unless you pay to return it. We purchase the Yardworks 24V / 20" 3-in-1 Cordless Lawn Mower less than a year ago at the Canadian Tire Store on Shaganappi and now both the store and the customer service department tell us that even though they carry a dethatcher blade for just about every other kind of mower there is, they don't carry the blades for the mowers that they sell. If you buy a new mower at RONA or Home Depot, Canadian Tire will provide you with a proper fitting dethatcher blade for it but not if you buy a lawn mower that Canadian Tire! Go... read full review »

My situation:
The original application was signed by someone who was not on my lease, not on my hydro bill, and not my spouse.
She was misled into signing this thing by someone she thought represented the government, and was told to check "spouse" on the application.
They called 10 days later, and heeding this persons advice that the deal was good, I gave my verbal consent.

We bought 5 Canon Powershot A 650 IS cameras and TVs Depot. They lied to us many times! They sold us warranties that didn't cover what they said they would.
They also told us that we would get cleaning kits for all of them and we only got one. We later called them and they didn't have our recorded conversation.
They won't believe us and said they would send us five SD cards. We will see, ya right. This is a scam we are lucky the cameras work.

Please suggest me whether we can file a complaint against landlord in Delhi. The issue is minor but it is essential to make the landlord realise that they should respect their tenants and give them all services which they have committed.

I ordered blindes after seeing an ad in the New York daily news. They called me back three days later and had someone come to my house on 04/12/08. The man took my measurments and had swatches and everything. I gave him $300 down and was to pay the rest once the blindes were put up. We bought an apartment from one Mssrs/Madhusudan who is the managing director of Sumadhura constructions He also has buildings in the name of Serene Sumadhura and Ragahvendra Paramount etc. The builder has built the building but has problems with the BBMP getting the Katta for the apartment owners. He has collected huge amount of money in the name of water connection from the apartment owners. Caution!!! Do not purchase large appliances from Sears!!!
We have had 4 dented refrigerators from Sears. This is an expensive refrigerator! Sears just keeps wanting to take up our time calling us with their stupid computer automated calling system. We empty out the fridge each time only to receive another damaged fridge. They refuse to inspect the fridge beforehand. We will never purchase ANYTHING from Sears. This has been the biggest hassle. On Friday morning Con edison inconvienced the people of this neighborhood, by placing barriers on more than 3 city blocks. Making it impossible to find parking. WE HAD A FIRE AT OUR HOME OVER TWO YEARS AGO. STATE FARM IS OUR INSURANCE CARRIER. THEY ABSOLUTELY HAVE TREATED US IN SUCH A WAY THAT YOU WOULD THINK IS CRIMINAL. Had a break in my fence yesterday. Invisible fence came out, told me I had multiple breaks, my wire was no good & I had to replace it at $.40 per foot. (I have 7 acres). I was So Mad; I called the local Dog Guard Dealer and he came out and had it repaired in no time... I saved over $3, 000 dollars!! to boot, they lied to me about the multiple breaks & then fried my electrical outletin the garage... Wonder how long it will be before they come out to repair that...

I purchased my home in 2000 and it is now 2008. For the past 3 years I have been fighting with reynin and bardi the builder to replace the stucco that has fallen off my house with no result from them. I hired a contractor to look at my house and found out that they had not placed plywood to adhere the stucco to. It was also stuccoed in the winter therefore causing it to freeze and contributed to it falling off my house. I now have to hire an attorney to get the problem resolved with the builder they are claiming no liability. This has happened to many homes in the community I live in and feel they are responsible for the repairs. read full review »

Pool construction was going fine until the deck guy came. he toppled over the piers which were for the concrete deck, so much for quality construction. Spoke to us like a used car dealer, even told me I read to much.
Well after he left it took a day of three laborers to pack stone under the concrete deck he poured. It had a large gab between the recently poured concrete deck and the ground. I have receipt for installation of dead bolt and door locks and keys. I had locked myself out of my townhouse and did not want police to break door jam to get into my house. I called for a locksmith and got Dependeable Locks iNc from the Bronx but was answered by a local Dependable lock distributor from the area.

I ordered a console table that was supposed to ship within 2 weeks. Left for a 5 week trip figuring I would be back well within the 30 day time frame for returns in case their was a problem. Returned to find it had been delivered right after I left. Took home immediately, opened, reported major damage (3 corners crushed) that wasn't obvious by examining the box it was shipped in.
