Well here is my story.. About a year ago I discovered Yahoo Answers.. It is a fun way to waste some time on a rainy day or long nite. I was offered free advertising with yell.com for a 30 day trial period, when the 30 days ended i told them over the phone i didn't want to go ahead with it but they went live with the ad and now want to charge me £326, they said they had no record of the phone call. I first bought 1 x 1Gb RAM from this company for my MacBook Pro but then decide that 2 x 2 Gb would work better and ask to exchange my first bought items. This was no problem and I send back the 1 Gb RAM for which I never received a refund. In the mean time I had already paid and received the 2 x 2Gb RAM sticks. My 88 year old mother-in-law was telephoned by Compass mobility and they arranged to visit her which she agreed to as she believed they were from social services. On 9th Feb 2009 the salesman persuaded her to part with a cheque for £200 for a recliner chair. I am writing regarding my experience regarding the telephone booking service whilst trying to acquire Wembley tickets. On Saturday 16th I was like many others trying to secure tickets for the play off final. This claim is actually for an elderly parent who took 2000 Dodge Caravan to long time trusted (20 yrs) auto mechanic because of squealing sound coming from engine bay. We were told before our shipping date that Cazumel was not going to be one of our stops. We understood, it was the swine flu. Fine, than a day before we were to go to Roatan, Honduras, we were told that port will be missed, since there's some sort of demonstrations going on there. Meanwhile, we get $20 ships credit per port missed, a total of $40 for me and my daughter $40. There were other Carnival ships out the same time we were. Carnival Valor, and Carnival Liberty. I am a member of the HSA dental scheme and have been pursuing claims for dental work - the first was an emergency on the 3rd Feb 2009 as my crown had broken on a front tooth and was dangerously positioned to break the root of my tooth if not attended to. On the 23rd March I returned to the dentist to have a new crown and paid for my dental work by credit card. I recently bought a Paint Wizard Pro from this company, which is advertised by Tommy walsh on Sky TV Shopping channel, and it arrived last week. My husband followed the instructions and filled it with paint, put the lid tight on, and commenced painting the ceiling, all of a sudden the lid came off and paint went all over my carpet. I had covered my carpets and furniture, but as the dust sheets only cover a certain area of the carpet, some of it was not covered. We are musicians who trusted the company with two CD replication orders. We really liked their claim that they would stand by their products, but soon discovered that they did not. We had problems with both products. The replicated discs did not function like the masters sent into the company. I bought this piece of 'crap'; because the first mp3 player I wanted was no longer in stock, when I went to the Office Depot Store. The salesman then referred me to the Ativa Brand player (at-mp200), which I bought for $37.91. They bill your credit card using deceptive sales techniques, all legal in the small print. So were screwed, not really. 17 days after ordering they bill you credit card, $17.50 if you do not cancel within that 17 days. So if you get all your friends together and have them order the FREE sample and as soon as they receive it they call and cancel. Make sure they get a conformation number. Went to the AT&T store at 350 N SAN FERNANDO BLVD BURBANK, CA, 91502 at 7:52 pm Saturday. The door was locked and I was told the store was closed. The door had posted hours open till 8:00 pm, when I showed the person at the door it was only 7:52 I was given a BS story that people would be on overtime taking care of the people already inside. We have paid for disability insurance for over 20 years. My husband had his knees replaced in 2005. His employer accomodated him with light duty work and he still retained his title and pay. This past March the company did not have any light duty work available and thus he went onto STD. After 90 we applied for our Thrivent supplemental insurance to kick in. I was at the same Sam's club today and had a very embarrassing experience: I was walking with my mother in law from a station to station to sample food. At around 1:30, we went to a mesquito chicken breast station. Do not buy anything from Mor Furniture if you expect to actually receive the furniture. It has been 3 months since I purchased furniture and accersories from mor - I have yet to receive everything. Promises are made to make the sell and then yiou keep receiving calls telling you that the items are not in stock.
