We purchased a beautiful ring with 5 diamonds and a one carat wt. for $1000. Within 1 1/2 years two diamonds fell out and BJ's would not repair or replace the ring. A reputable jeweler wrote a letter stating that the prongs and setting was not made correctly. Steve Sinodis and his employees never returned emails, took 3 months to close the refinance, and lost my cashier's check once we were at the end of the most difficult and stressful refinance I have ever encountered.
