I purchased a brand new LG Dehumidifier from Dimitry Livit from DeHumking in June of 2006. The unit was advertised as new with a 5 year parts and labour warranty. The unit stopped working so I took it to get fixed. I was just informed by a LG Authorized Service Center that the serial numbers had been removed and therefore the unit has no warranty. When I contacted the phone number listed 1-866-733-0577, I was informed that all they could do was cancel a discount card arrangement with Walgreens. I did not purchase a discount card. My case specialist has discontinued returning my phone calls about the progression of my case. Even after all services have been paid in full! Better business bureau has 134 complaints over 3 years, of which only 79 have been resolved completely, as of june 15, 2006! My wife and I made the mistake of ordering a disk for information and got a big headache. The free trial lasts 7-14 days which is truly convenient for them, because it took 14 days just to get the disk to us. Assuming the trial would start AFTER the first login session. I want to complain about the (lack of) ethics of Webhosting Buzz. We hired the service last year and were appalled by their bad quality (down time more than 10%, etc). We stopped using them in January this year. After no news from them, we receive a credit card charge for U$S 100 out of the blue, for renewing! My daughter enrolled in their modelling class on the Mississippi gulf coast before Katrina, at a hefty price and was charged, pay per you class. $100.00. Purchase a Maytag dryer 2 years and 2 months ago. The dryer stopped working. Had Sears out to take a look and they took the dryer apart and found that the outer drum had a six inch crack in the drum. Likey a manufacturing defect that finally got so bad the dryer failed. I called Maytag and they did NOTHING. Thought it perfectly acceptable that a two year old dryer failed by a larger crack in the outer drum (the one that is outside and not visible unless it is taken apart). There is now another website on google called ShowsOn DVD.tv who is offering the same product even cheaper. I sold and account to ToonStorm.com 2 days ago. They made me give them all of the information for the account and complete control of the account before they would send payment. They even called me on the phone and asked me a bunch of personal questions to verify I was legit.
