Reverse Phone Detective is a TOTAL SCAM. They lure you in by saying you'll have unlimited searches for one year. Then when trying to do a search, they will require you to buy tracer report credits (at $9.95 per credit). I tested it on my own home phone (a land line) and it told me it was unpublished (it's not), but to find out more, I could buy tracer credits and they'd be happy tell me more. I ordered the free trial offer and ended up with 2 charges of $81.99. They refused to credit the charges back so I told my credit card company to refuse the these charges or any more that came from this company. The SOB's turned me over to a collection agency. With the help of a lawyer we finally got the collection agency to drop the account but this company keeps sending me bills. I returned the product with a return recipt requested and they signed it. I signed up in 6/08 and sent gas receipts in each month starting July 2008. I received July and August in November 08 for $50.00 gas card, but have not received September or October 08, or the $5.00 back for signing up. I have been trying to reach this company within the seven days to cancel, but everytime I email it comes back and tells me the address can not be found. This furniture store is a scam. The owners Betty Su and co. have defrauded many people. They ask for advance money to deliver furniture but do not deliver it. I called this contractor to repair a garage door. Upon receiving the bill, I questioned an item titled, "Service Call - $95." I asked what this was. Randy told me it was for a preliminary visit to ascertain what exactly needed to be done to repair the door. Upon my telling him this was unprofessional bill padding, Randy began to argue with me aggressively. He was terribly rude and disrespectful. A simple one-hour door repair grew to an inflated $300. I live in a rural California county where there are limited ISPs. At the time that I signed up for Wildblue, it was the ISP of last resort -- and now I can see why. If there is any kind of weather, my internet service is slower than dial-up or unavailable altogether. Since the conversion to Google, I have been without email and cannot login or reach technical support. If you can't login, you can't change the password! I am a college student, working full time. We just transferred our service from Sprint to AT&T this seems like it was going from bad to worse. We purchased 3 phones and a 3K minute plan for our corporate cell phones. After checking my bank statement, I found another number, which I called: 866-376-4078. It was answered immediately, and since I was within the 10 days specified under the Terms and Conditions listed on the website, I was able to cancel any future transactions. Told me that I could find information about grants for $1.98 and have been charged multiple charges totaling over $90.00 dollars causing my bank checking account several hundered of dollars due to insufficient funds. It took me over a year of making purchases online before I "qualified" to receive money from Ebates. My total I am supposed to be paid is a little over $28.
