I have just looked at my checking account statement. I have found 2 charges on my account for identity fraud protection. One charge in the amount of $9.95 One chage in the amount of $4.95 I have contacted my bank and they say the only way to take care of this situation is to turn off my debit card. I am unable to do that right now as there are other charges on the account that have not yet cleared and I don't want to be charged overdraft fees. I applied for a 250.00 loan and paid it back in full ay my subscribed time then a month later 17.00 is taking out of my account with a check. So i called the number that is provided by my bank and its some kind of resource center that claims when i took out that loan i agreed to pay them basically to. This is one of the worst gyms I've ever been to. The staff is consistently rude to clients and unhelpful with even the simplest tasks. Once, I asked for a class schedule. They told me they couldn't make copies because there was no ink and no paper and they didn't know when they would get either one of those things. I waited for weeks. This bank operates online as UFB Direct and offers high interst savings accounts. I opened my account with a $500 deposit at a 4.00% APY. After two months the interst rate dropped to 2.02% APY. I decided to close my account, but was never told of a $30 "Closing Fee". So after 3 months I earned $2.99 in interest, but was charged a $30 fee to close my account, for a net loss to me of $27.01. They are a credit service that restores credit and told me i would have a 750 credit score or better and they did not do anything close to that score and i requested a refund and was denied. I recently cashed in some miles for travel from Asia to UK. I made the booking over the phone and was told it would be 60, 000 miles plus taxes etc. I have since been charged 80, 000 miles as - apparently - the rules changed on April 1st. They have customers send in gas receipts after sending them $5 through paypal. They promise to send you a $25 gas card for every $100 in receipts each month. I was tied up with universal gas for their promise to lock low gas rate, which is not actually lower but they locked the price to a higher rate. I do not want to continue with their company but they want me to pay $250 early termination fee that was never mentioned to me in the beginning.
