Surestimate Invoice

I am in a very bad situation with echotransworld. They send me a quote for 400 cubes feets for 3275 dollars door to door including the customs charge.

They took the goods and now they send me an invoice for 5599 dollars. They found 624 cubes feets, (I have all the details of the list of items and I found something around 405cf), they add a new line on the invoice for handling charge at origin for 450 dollars (the lift is at 4 or 5 meters than the door of my appartment), and for the moment they didn't accept my claims.

I am not American and I don't know what to do with that, I need help please

Awful company

Echo Trans World is terrible, definitely a scam. They moved my items from los angeles to shanghai. 50% of my items were damaged. they lost my dining room table (how do you do that?). The shipment took twice as long as they promised. Echo Trans World failed to ask me basic questions about my shipment that created serious customs issues, and my total fees where 30% higher than their quote. When i inquired about the claims process, i was told even before i received the instructions that my claim would be denied. And i had to threaten to deny acceptance before they would tell me the process. Echo Trans World is horrible, do not use them under any circumstances.

I understand they have had an unusual number of complaints. Shame on me for not checking the review websites. Shame on them for continuing their deceitful practices.
