I purchased a microdermabrasion machine for $6, 000.00. I was never advised how much my specific interest rate was however, when I asked a paralegal friend of mine to review the contract she said that my payments for 60 months for $6K were almost as much as her $10K 60 month Kia contract and her interest rate was 17 percent due to her credit so she thought I must really be getting ripped off. I ordered what I thought was two protective screens for garmin nuvi 760GPS units for $12.95. $16.35 was billed for this order, including $3.40 shipping. This company removed my 100 gallon tank of gas two days after I called them and requested proof of any contract that I signed saying I will use a minimum amount of propane per year. I purchased the home from a previous owner and continued on using Knowles Gas company. However, my fireplace malfunctioned so I did not consume any propane for that year but Knowles Gas still billed me for non-usage. I picked out the carpeting style and color I wanted and signed a contract to have carpeting laid in a bedroom. Customer service is non-existant. The claims office nearest me closes earlier than they advertise, so one must play a cat and mouse game to get service. If one office closes because of inclement weather, how are their policy holder supposed to get in touch in the event of an emergency? 3 months ago I ordered a replacement lamp for my projector. I was told I would have it in 2 to 3 weeks, finally after a month it was shipped. When I tried to install the lamp, I found that they had shipped the wrong product. I sent it back to them using UPS, I had UPS email them the tracking number, and after 2 and a half weeks, I did not hear anything. When I emailed them they stated they needed a tracking number. Just to warn you all, I also fell victim to the Google Treasure Chest. I was looking at a work a home business where the person, who was local stated they earned $5, 000 monthly by entry data links. They start by responding to your craigslist posting like it's a guy who wants to connect, but his picture is on the cm2buddy website. That should have been my first tip off that it was crooked. The second should have been the fact that the response is vague, so it can be sent to lots of postings: "I'm in your city", "You seem like a great guy" (no details)...
