selfhelpff.com
D.Moore April 22, 2009
I, like many others, discovered charges to my bank account that I had not authorized from a company called selfhelpff.com whom I had never heard of. I called this company and the representative told me that when I ordered the product Bromalite, I had automatically joined this fitness club. After much disputing, I was able to get them to refund my money. Then I canceled my bank card with my bank to make sure that this company can not debit my account anymore. Acai berry, Bromalite and all the rest is certainly a scam. People out there, be aware before you order any of these products via the internet. read full review »

I've bought a new fryer from them, but they've send me an obviously used item. They won't accept it back, and they don't want to give me my money back. I've tried to call them, but they never pickup the phone. Terrible service. Don't deal with them. read full review »

I was eagerly awaiting my edhardy hoodie EDWH18 but all my expectations were shattered when I opened the box. The material was damaged and the color was faded in places. This was completely different from the product's image on the site. I tried calling the customer care many times but was unable to reach a representative so that I can get a refund. read full review »

GoogleTreasureChest
Luke April 1, 2009
The website advertisement stated that I would be shown how to make $5, 000 to $7, 000 in short order simply by typing in links on Google or other websites. So, I signed up at a cost of $1.97 to have my kit sent to me which would show me how to do just that. When I went into the website at www.googletreasurechest.com and signed in, I saw ABSOLUTELY no indication that I was going to find what I expected. When I sent an email to the support address "[email protected]", it bounced back to me saying there is no... read full review »

Crickett
Mel January 20, 2009
I was in the hospital and wallet was locked up in hospital safe. Got out, went to pay my bill by phone & they charged me $15 extra dollars late fee. I had lost track of date (in hospital) so I paid it. Looked up date and it was my due date. Called up crickett. After getting disconnected twice finally actually got to talk to a person. I was told that there is nothing they can do. In other words paid a late fee when I was not late. I need a new service read full review »

Shop Flip Flops
Karla March 3, 2009
It has now been 5 months since I sent Shop Flip Flops $5250.00 for my wholesale order of 681 pairs of Havaianas. They have my address, they have my money, they have my bank information to refund my money, but THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING! I have lost my business, spent endless hours trying to resolve this and still, as of today, March 3, 2009 I still get nothing but lies from Kent. If Shop Flip Flops has scammed you in any way, large or small, please report them to the FBI and the BBB. My complaint # with the BBB is: 55072211. You may use it to... read full review »

Roving Auto Repair
Damien July 2, 2009
I took my driveshaft to Roving Auto to have the u-joint replaced. It's a simple job and they quoted a price of $45. They said it would only take a half hour so I decided to wait. I stood at some distance but I could clearly see the technician working the driveshaft first with a pneumatic press and then with a big hammer. A few minutes later, he called me over to show me the huge crack in the yoke. He said he would send it out to have it repaired at no cost to me. Well when I went to pick it up the next day, the bill jumped to $115. When I... read full review »

Book Of The Month Club
July 7, 2008
Had built up a list of books but was not told that my former company (Zooba.com) was acquired by Book of the Month, which proceeded to scrub my list, but still charge me the monthly fees. When I asked when I might expect shipment Book of the Month said they would only ship the next book free, but that I would not get any credit for the several months they were charging me. In effect, it doesn't matter if you build your reading list. Book of the Month may delete the whole thing in order to rack up more monthly fees for themselve... read full review »

My company has a gift program for their associates serviced by Carlson Marketing Worldwide (CMW). I received the voucher prior to Thanksgiving week in November 2008. After indicating my selections, I mailed it the very next day. After two months no magazines had been received so I contacted CMW and the associate explained that they handle the mailing of the vouchers and referred me to Magazine Yellow Pages (MYP) to check the status of the order. I recently got a call from this supposedly magazine company at work. They were explaining to me that I had been chosen as one in that area not related to walmart, but that I could sign up for magazines and that the term is 60 months and that the payments would be just a little over #32 dollars. They said they would put in the order for my magazines, but they did not tell me rather they ordered for that month or 60 months This to me was little deceiving because when I called recently they told me that I would have to pay $906 and that I could... read full review »

When I received the 1st monthly shipment and a bill for $87.00, I called and was told I had signed up for this when I ordered the trial supply. I said I wanted to cancel and would send the product back. They told me that, since it was past the 30-day period, I could cancel but I had to pay for and keep the product. Compass VISA
Eddy July 11, 2009
I rarely use my Compass Bank VISA. In a pinch, I used it for a $13.53 charge. The bill arrived, and I paid it slightly past the 30 days due. They hit me with a $19 late fee. I called to ask that the late fee -- which is more than the charge -- be waived. They said I had to fax the request. I faxed the request, and said I would pay the current bill as soon as I was apprised of the dispute outcome. I then received another bill showing that the initial late fee was waived, BUT, COMPASS VISA CHARGED ME A SECOND LATE FEE OF $19 while my request to... read full review »
