My husband had a credit card that was past due. After he passed away, I was attempting to resolve all of his and my outstanding debts. I had an agreement with them to take £72.00 per year from my account in September each year. However, they took £72.00 in March 09 (six months early). I phoned on three occassions and each time they gave excuses and promised to re-pay the amount. It never came so I wrote to them on 1st June 09. However, still no response. I completed my associates degree in May 2008 and after sending in the paperwork five different times still have not received my diploma. The quality of the courses was very poor and many of the instructors did not even bother to respond to any questions I had. I received a trial of acai berry in Febuary. After reading about this being a scam with no results I tried to call the company several times. I do not wish to participate in the program and wish to opt out. The first call kept me on hold for 20 min. The next day I was told that the computers were down. The third call said the telephone system is expiercencing some trouble. The next call I was on hold for 15 min. I finaly left a message opting out of the program and not recieved a return call. I purchased 4 new tires from Big-O Tires that was participating in a $500 free gas rebate program. I got my certificate and that is all. I have to submit $100 a month in receipts to the address above and they are supposed to send a $25 gas card or credit card every month until the $500 is rebated to me. this will take 20 months. My rebate coupons expire November 2009. I was dumb enough to fall for the colonxR free trial scam through a link to the weather channel. The number given to cancel colonxr does not work and the only way to get out of them continually charging your credit card is to cancel the credit card. I eventually found a live chat format through the above website and was promised twice that my order would be cancelled and I would recieve a confirming e-mail, it never happened. False advertising. Ordered a camera advertised at $209.00 with free shipping. Website shows all that is included, battery, charger, etc. I called to check on my order and was asked what battery I wanted to order with it, the 2 hour or 5 hour.
