I purchased a pair of shoes from the DSW website on 6/25/09 for $95. I received the shoes on 7/3/09. Two weeks later I noticed that the shoes had been discounted to $25. I called and e-mailed DSW and inquired about a price adjustment. I pointed out that I was well within the return/exchange period but that didn't make a difference to them. Autoquest was selling a 2007 Porsche Targa via Ebay. The AutoCheck report with the car showed no accidents. However, I purchased a CarFax for the car and it showed there had been an accident and airbag deployment in 2007 which AutoCheck did not report. I had been told by others to always do a CarFax because autocheck was incomplete. I contacted the car dealership and they said "oh, this isn't good". They seemed surprised but my belief is they could tell the cart had been repaired. First, I paid extra to have it delivered with a lift truck but it came with one driver and no lift so I had to find someone to help the driver unload it.
